Solitude

”Even in the chaos, don’t forget to kiss.” There are times when we are fully engaged in the things happening in the outside world that we simply forget to connect with the vast world within. Rest assured; the more you listen to and trust your own unique voice things will start flowing more effortlessly, regardless of how chaotic life may seem.  Every day trying my best to be comfortable with the uncertainty, not letting fear be a dominant factor in what I do. Instead, my goal is to take action to initiate change. Cause when nothing is certain, anything is possible. At times like these when the comfort has been taken away from us it’s time to lean towards growth. And some days I fail miserably. Still and all, that’s part of being human. Nonetheless, the moment you start to see failure as a means to growth, you’ll become immune to it. As long as we learn from our experiences failure does not exist. You did not fail if it made you into a better …

Live a little

”Don’t be afraid to try new things. Just live a little.”   I’ve had a very productive weekend. With almost 16 hours of psychology studies (brain anatomy), I felt I needed some kind of balance not to go insane. I brushed off my painting brushes and spent Saturday evening messing with light spring colors. Oh how I adore this time of the year! The sun makes me too restless, however, her light energy always transmits me joy and peace. I’ve also decided to start recording some of my texts. The reason being; I just need to step out of that comfy comfort zone of mine. I strongly believe in the importance of doing things that scare you. We shouldn’t be afraid of trying new things – instead we should live a little. Shouldn’t we? We don’t have to be perfect. We just have to be ourselves. I challenge you to do something this week you never done before; whether it’s talking to a stranger, waking up one hour earlier, eating healthier, speaking kindness, or trying …

Being easily pleased

”We could never have guessed, we were already blessed where we are…” – James Taylor Beauty is found in the ordinary. As the winter sun caresses my frozen cheeks my fears slowly melt away, like snowflakes on a sunny April day. Reading books that open up my heart, providing me with valuable knowledge. Being able to constantly challenge the mind. Making a beautiful home cooked meal. Putting pen to paper, exploring the creative mind. Still, I know you’re with her. It’s the little things, without them there would be no essence to everyday life. Without them there would be no Me. There would be no Us.  One of the three books I’m reading at the moment is a book written by Mark Nepo ”The Book of Awakening – Having the Life You want by Being Present to the Life You Have.” In one of the chapters Nepo writes that; ”One key to knowing joy is being easily pleased.” I find this to be very true. However, this doesn’t mean that you should stop striving for …

Killing time

”…and he knew she was much more than a sentence. she was the entire storyline. the unwritten ending.”   Looking for a way to kill time? Write. ”Write hard and clear about what hurts.” – Ernest Hemingway Or just write whatever comes to your mind. Do whatever floats your boat; spend your precious time wisely. Focus on what makes you happy. Focus on being brave. Recognize the little voice in your head that says you can’t do it. Get rid of self-doubt. Dear human, you can do anything. Have faith in yourself. Be confident. You might feel scared. Alone. That’s totally fine. You’re human. But remember, you’re never alone with a sky full of stars. Fall deeply, madly in love with yourself. With your life. And the world will fall deeply, madly in love with you. Some things you better not ever forget.  ❤     in every one of his dreams she exists and with the sun she disappears     she laughs and he knows the world needs more of her     …

Dear June…

…you’re my favourite month. ”You’ll turn out ordinary if you’re not careful.” June is for waking up early. For staying up late. The Midnight Sun screaming for attention. June is for restless nights. June is for magic. Young and green. June is for miracles. For feeling alive. June is for picnics and counting stars. June is for beauty in its purest form. June is a wild child, a summer child. Growing into the adolescence of autumn. June is for believing everything is possible.  June is a month when I feel most alive. I blame the sunlight, the long days and short nights. I sleep a lot during winter, but could stay up whole June. The nature – pure, fresh and clean. June might as well be cold and rainy, but it’s still June. It’s still magic. My deepest desire is to spend every waking moment underneath the Sun. Close to the Sea. Close to the Heart. ”To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong”   This June is all about balance, practicing …
