Guided by Intuition

That feeling when you just understand, or know something, without the need for conscious reasoning. That immediate insight that emerges seemingly out of nowhere. It can manifest as a physical sensation—a tightening in the chest, a sudden clarity, or a quiet voice that whispers a direction. But where does intuition come from? I don’t know, but I like to see it as a deep, and spiritual connection, a way for my inner most self to communicate with the more conscious part of me. Intuition has always been a real and valuable aspect of my life. It’s not something I talk about often, simply because there are no words to describe it; it’s a feeling, a deep knowing inside that holds the truth, and learning to listen to it, is life-changing. More often than not, intuitive choices lead you down a path that feels more aligned with who you are. Why? Because intuition is deeply personal. It’s not swayed by external factors or influenced by other people’s expectations. When you trust and rely on your intuition, …

Trusting Your Intuition: A Guide to Unlocking Inner Wisdom

Have you ever had a gut feeling that turned out to be spot-on? That’s your intuition at work, and learning to trust it can be a powerful tool for decision-making and navigating life’s uncertainties. Below you’ll find some tips to help you connect with and rely on your inner wisdom. 1. Cultivate Self-Awareness: Take the time to understand yourself better. Pay attention to your thoughts and feelings, as well as reactions in different situations. Self-awareness is the first step in recognizing when your intuition is trying to communicate with you. 2. Embrace Silence and Stillness: Don’t let the external noise drown out your inner voice. Practice mindfulness and meditation to create moments of silence in your day-to-day life. This allows your intuition to rise to the surface without any interference and distractions. 3. Reflect on Past Experiences: Think about circumstances when you followed your intuition and it led you to positive outcomes. Recall those moments when your gut feeling was right. When reflecting on past experiences it helps build confidence in your intuitive abilities. 4. …

The sacred intuitive mind

”Creativity thrives in stillness, arises from the no-thingness.” When you allow yourself to simply sit, with yourself, and let the thoughts wander freely – no holding on, no grasping, simply observing; insights, and new solutions to your challenges might arise. One of our biggest dilemmas, I believe, is that we think about life more than we are actually living life. And isn’t it precisely because of that, that we need to remember to appreciate the moments in between. Life is to be found in the smallest of details; the morning sun gently caressing the ground, the taste of ocean air, your lovers facial expression when she’s talking about something important to her, a strangers helping hand, the sound of your sleeping child. Lately, I’ve rarely given myself the time to sit down, and write. Writing has often been the thing that has provided me with the most comfort; to acknowledge the calmness, and just let whatever that wants to arise, arise. You see, the words, more often than not, surface out of the stillness. They …

By your side, dear intuition

”I may not be brave, but my eyes speak the truth.” random thoughts of the day. i’m a free spirit. within me is a strong need for freedom. a strong need for serenity and calm sea. i want to feel alive. i want to feel that i am the one in control of my life, the one in control of my decisions. i want to be me, and i want you to be you. i do not easily fall in love, however, if i meet a person with whom i connect i usually feel it at once. this happens whether it’s a friendship, a colleague, or someone i would fall into a love relationship with. it hits me at once. the feeling is there, and i can’t hide from it. when i fall for another human being i feel it throughout my entire body. my emotions speak vividly. they speak through my heart. through the butterflies going freakin wild in my belly. nevertheless, a pure physical connection has never been enough for me, i need …

End of the year intentions

”Everything you need, seek and long for is already within.” I feel it’s a beginning of a new cycle of life. Not only because August is knocking on our doors, but I can feel fresh faced optimism floating in the air. Do you sense it as well? I’m a firm believer in writing my intentions, goals and dreams down, preferably on a piece of paper. I guess I am more of a dreamer/planner than a doer. However, my intentions for 2019 was all about taking action and believing in myself and my abilities. Now, looking back on these past 7 months, I sense a stronger confidence has slowly started to grow within me, as well as a strong feeling of being connected to something greater than my physical being. When it comes to intentions, you can choose to write daily, weekly, monthly and/or yearly intentions. I prefer to write my intentions in the beginning of every month, as well as set one daily intention that helps guiding me throughout the day. Setting intentions not only …

That gut feeling

”Trust your intuition. It knows what your head has yet to figure out.”   Come home to yourself, darling. Stop running away from your inner being, instead run toward yourself. Trust that you hold all the answers within. When you feel at home with yourself you begin to feel safe in the world, and it will become much easier to listen and pay attention to your intuition.  How can we become better at listening to our inner voice, that gut feeling? Here are the most important ways I’ve learned to uncover and trust my intuition. 1. Stay present. ”Breathe in the moment.”  To be mindful in the present moment is one of the most powerful ways to detach from the ego. It’s easy to get caught up in all the shoulds, and thereby forgetting all the wants and needs that lie deep within. At the moment I’m sipping on a cup of coffee while writing, and enjoying the sound of heavy rain and thunderstorm. Happiness lies in the smallest of things. Each and every day …
