Whatever you are, be a good one

”Shine your light on this world.”   Once upon a time… … there was a little girl with a big heart and a curious mind. However, this shy and quiet little girl didn’t think much of herself. Always comparing herself with the bright and clever ones, the extroverts, people with confidence. Never did she dare to speak up, cause who would even listen to what she had to say. Though, she had a whole little world inside her brain; always dreaming, planning and visualizing. Creating stories, and no one to tell.  And the day came, when her heart got stolen, broken and totally cracked open. Dark months went by. However, gradually sunlight started pouring in, leaving her feeling lighter and brighter. Her heart might had been broken, but her soul finally had woken.  And while her brain was still busy dreaming and creating stories, she knew there was one goal more important than the others; to be herself. To crack open. Cause the world needed her open. The world needs you open. OWN WHO …

How to change and replace limiting beliefs

”You don’t grow when things are easy. You grow when you face challenges.”   Limiting beliefs can be very sneaky, and so powerful that no matter how hard we try to control our thoughts and emotions they keep preventing us from attracting what we want in life. But what are the most common limiting beliefs stopping us from reaching our fullest potential? And what can we do in order to change and replace them for good?  A limiting belief is a belief that stops us from doing something or changing; almost like an invisible barrier that prevents us from what we truly want. It’s something that we say to ourselves and that blocks us from moving forward or achieving our goals. The nasty voice in your head that says; I can’t do it. Limiting beliefs are generally based on past experiences, our childhood, the way we were raised, our culture etcetera. They are deeply rooted within us, usually on a subconscious level, and therefore, we might not be fully aware of what they are, and the negative effect …

Flow with it

”When in doubt, practise yoga.” Almost every morning, after I’ve had my morning coffee, I practise yoga. It’s by far one of the morning routines that I appreciate the most. Letting my body quietly awaken while I stretch out my muscles; Absolutely lovely. Yoga has helped me tremendously in so many ways; not only to find stillness, but to learn to listen to my body and its needs. Yoga can be anything from a tough, sweaty workout to more calm, mindful movements. Find your favourite. Find your kind of flow. I’m far from being a yogi, but I don’t care; I really enjoy it, and that’s the most important part. You need to be enjoying the things you’re doing. Or in other words; you need to be loving the things you’re doing. It becomes so much easier then – to work out, and to take care of the body. Your body is your home, and therefore it needs to be taken care of ❤ A gentle flow. Namaste

Power of Thoughts

”Dear sunrise, you bring me peace of mind.” Thoughts are a huge part of who we are. The human mind is a beautiful, yet complicated and sophisticated machine, and it’s estimated that an average person has between 40.000 to 60.000 thoughts per day (National Science Foundation). What is more, 80 % of these thoughts are negative, and 95 % are repetitive.  Nevertheless, one important aspect to bear in mind is; you’re not your thoughts, you’re simply having thoughts. Most of the thoughts that are running through the mind we aren’t even totally conscious of. These so called subliminal messages go un-noticed since they aren’t perceived by the conscious mind. However, whether we notice these thoughts or not they will affect us to some extent. Pay attention to your thoughts According to the facts above it might seem that all we do is complain, whine or have thoughts that diminish our own or other people’s self worth, and mostly without even being aware of it! According to Eckhart Tolle one of the ego’s favourite strategies to strengthen …

Dear spring…

… you’re my sunshine. My darling friend, you’re beautiful from day one. ”The morning sun dazzling through the broken window. Caressing my soft heart, my recovered soul. Oh, how I adore the warmth she brings.   Life changes with the seasons. Even the coldest, darkest winter happens for a reason. However, it won’t last forever. Spring is coming. Wait, she’s already here, shining brightly on all of us. Let her embrace you. Don’t try to understand her, just love her. And let her shine.  Through seasons she’s changing, Mother Nature. Like you, through your experiences, your being. Every second you have the possibility to move forward, to evolve. Embrace your colors. Only you decide where you’re going. Only you decide when it’s your season to change. Know, that from all of the chaos a flower will start to blossom. Spring is the season when I feel most alive. I blame the sunlight, the long days and short nights. The nature – pure, fresh and green. Spring might as well be cold and rainy, but it’s …

Spread the light

”My home is within. That’s where the light is.”   Have you ever been so caught up in a stressful, painful situation that you forgot who you are? I bet you have, you are human. At some point in our lives it might have felt convenient to choose hate instead of love. Fear instead of excitement. Sadness instead of joy. Adopting fear and hatred should never be an option. Love, however, is always an option. It’s up to you to decide.  The past days I’ve been guilty of carrying too much pain and sadness within me. Darkness had its tight grip against my neck. Luckily it felt weird having all that negativity inside of me.”This is not who I am”. I became aware of how easily too much pain can drag a person down. ”Bitterness? Within me? Who am I?” I’ve never been a human filled with hatred. I’m compassionate. Loving and caring. I’ve always loved to dress up in a smile. Life teaches us lessons, every single day. If we let it. It’s …

Scripting & Visualizing

”You are the creator of your reality.”   Scripting, or journaling, is a powerful tool in order to create the life that you want. It’s a way of visualizing your future and how you wish it to unfold; in other words you get to design your entire life. You are limitless. Everything will work out for you; you just have to find the trust within yourself. Trust. Yourself.   ”We chase likes instead of dreams. We surf the web instead of the world. We build profiles instead of connections. We let computers fill our hearts, and then we wonder why we feel so empty.” – Mark Groves   Whether you choose to use scripting every day, once a week, once a month or once a year, remember it can be a powerful tool in order to create your desired destiny. Write everything in detail, the way you wish your life to be. Write everything as if, in the present tense, the way that you desire it. The key ingredient when writing your script is emotion. …

Mindset is everything

”Chaos is only understood when it’s loved by the wild, not the weak.”   I believe in me, and you should too; believe in yourself. Do not become small for people who refuse to grow. The less you respond to negative people, the more peaceful your life will become. Remember that no one is coming to save you. This life is 100 % your responsibility. Brave human, never settle again.    ”The hardest step she ever took was to blindly trust in who she was. – Atticus Believing in yourself is the first secret of success. Your mind will always believe everything you tell it. Feed it with love. Feed it with truth. It’s never too late to start living the life you always dreamt of. One day you just have to decide to jump, not knowing where you will land. Having the courage, although life is uncertain, will take you to places you never thought of exploring. Dear human, be brave, have faith. Life will reward you if you decide to never give up. I …

Dear June…

…you’re my favourite month. ”You’ll turn out ordinary if you’re not careful.” June is for waking up early. For staying up late. The Midnight Sun screaming for attention. June is for restless nights. June is for magic. Young and green. June is for miracles. For feeling alive. June is for picnics and counting stars. June is for beauty in its purest form. June is a wild child, a summer child. Growing into the adolescence of autumn. June is for believing everything is possible.  June is a month when I feel most alive. I blame the sunlight, the long days and short nights. I sleep a lot during winter, but could stay up whole June. The nature – pure, fresh and clean. June might as well be cold and rainy, but it’s still June. It’s still magic. My deepest desire is to spend every waking moment underneath the Sun. Close to the Sea. Close to the Heart. ”To live a creative life, we must lose our fear of being wrong”   This June is all about balance, practicing …
