Small daily habits to improve your life

”Ask yourself; Does this support my innermost being?” While being perfect is rather boring, we should instead strive to be a bit more willing to be the best version of ourselves. A version that will change from day to day, from hour to hour even. Some days we learn, some days we win. However, we don’t stop when the mountain gets too high or the sea too rough. Rather, we adjust. We may scream a little (or a lot), we may laugh at our foolishness. But we continue, we adapt. And that’s how we evolve. ”Fragile you are, little seed. Planted in the depths of thick, dark, nourishing soil. Resilient you are, blooming flower. Early spring.” I strongly believe it’s the small daily habits that encompass the greatest value on our overall wellbeing. Like waking up early dawn, knowing it’s time to make yourself a freshly brewed cup of coffee. The smell and sound of coffee beans grinding. The taste of creamy oat milk, nicely poured on top of a hot, steamy cup of goodness. …

Find your happy

”It’s on the other side of doubt that I wish to dance.” Whatever you do, be sure it makes you happy. One simple yet profound rule of life. In other words – do more of the things that set your soul on fire. Whether it’s painting, feeding the poor, singing, writing, teaching children, managing a multi-billion dollar business or practicing mindfulness. Maybe you haven’t figured out what makes your soul spark – that’s totally fine. Don’t overthink. Don’t force things to come to you. Sometimes you just have to go with the flow. Below you’ll find some of the things I will do more of this spring, whether it’s writing, painting, travelling or just simply being in the moment. Nevertheless, these are the things that make my soul dance. Learn – Study Psychology I’m always eager to learn new things, and educate myself. I strongly believe that one can’t have too much knowledge wisdom. I guess it’s my curiosity that makes me want to continue studying. That deep longing for answers to questions I can’t …

Inner happiness

”Use the hours with softness.” Don’t try to change the past, it’s impossible. The only way to change the future is by making the most of the present. Being a control freak by nature I’ve decided to work on being more patient with myself, in order to find a sense of calmness within; personal features that I strongly believe are highly beneficial to the body, mind & soul.  But how is it even possible to stay patient and calm in a world that’s constantly changing? To stay satisfied with what is, when the mind is obsessed with living in the past or worrying about the future? It’s like it does anything just to escape the now. ”I don’t want to be here, I need to get to there.” ”When I find that perfect partner, that perfect job, earn loads of money and become successful, then I’ll be happy.” ”I’m not satisfied with where I am, I need to have more, be more; then my life will be fulfilled.” The ego will never be fulfilled; no matter …

Live in color

”don’t blame me;the moon was full.”   Life would be rather dull if we would live in grey and black all the time, wouldn’t it? We need a little more spark in our life. A little more passion. A little more joy. A little more of everything that puts a big, fat smile on our face; poetry art the ocean red lips the autumn breeze summer nights sex laughter dreams plant-based food pure white snow empty beaches bare skin sunset the early hours love thunderstorms human beings dogs the smell of light summer rain music crispy apples yoga curiosity the midnight sky space snowy mountains morning coffee kindness ❤ Linda

5 Positive habits that will improve your life

”Now is the perfect time to start imagining all that you can do.”   It’s never too late to implement fresh, new habits into your day-to-day routine. As I mentioned in a former blog post (Five life perspectives to live by) – if you’re looking for a mini life-makeover, then, first things first, you need to start from within. In other words, start with your mental state, since most often it’s the root to all problems. If you don’t change what’s going on inside your mind – with your thoughts, who you are and the way you think about certain things – then it’s going to be very hard to find a new sense of happiness, contentment and inspiration. Below you’ll find 5 positive habits to implement in 2019: Patience ”Allow things to unfold naturally.” I believe the main difference between successful and unsuccessful people is not the way they vary in their competencies, but the way they vary in their ambition, and desires to reach their potential. Persistence and patience is key, since good things usually …
