Contemplation

”In silence you will find yourself.” mornings are for coffee and contemplation. truth be told the past four months have been mostly about becoming one with the stillness, one with the unknown. never have i spent this much time in my own company. i would lie if i said it hasn’t been tough at times – cause it has. however, it has been one of the greatest opportunities i’ve experienced thus far, simply cause it has forced me to go within. forced me to not run away from myself, from all the emotions – fear, pain and anxiety – that come with uncertainty. it’s a beautiful thing to be able to carry oneself through deep healing. still, an important aspect to bear in mind; we’re never alone, although we might be and feel lonely. there’s always an opportunity to reach out to a friend, family member, mentor or why not even a stranger if you feel the need to share your thoughts with someone. journal. create. or simply choose to just be, to sit with …

Mindfulness & Meditation

”We do our best work when we care for each other, and are cared for.” Ever since I tried meditation for the first time I was fascinated by the positive impact it had on me. Nonetheless, I’m far from a meditation guru, and I’ve only meditated regularly for approx. 3,5 years. Still and all, I believe it has helped me stress less, especially about things I can’t control. Moreover, I find it easier to stay focused, and to keep my mind more sharp and attentive when needed. A couple of days ago I listened to a Mindvalley Speech online with Emily Fletcher; the founder of Ziva, and the creator of the Ziva Technique (a …

Below you’ll find some of my favourites. Tranquility speaks ”Listen to the whispers of your soul.” 4.30 am. I forgot how peaceful it is to wake up at dawn. Inner Strength

”she is kind but strong, and that is where so many mistake her. they interpret her kindness for weakness and force her to show her strength.” – JmStorm   Being courageous doesn’t always mean you aren’t afraid. Sometimes it simply means that you’ve the inner strength to keep moving forward, embracing fear. I truly believe each and every one of us are stronger than we really think. Life is a wonderful journey that is not always easy. Sometimes life puts difficult situations in front of us in order to help us grow, and to find the strength to build us into more powerful and confident beings. You either have been, or will be, challenged at some point in your life. However, you’re not a victim. Don’t let an experience weaken you, let it build you into a stronger human. You’re more than the circumstances in your life; it’s how you grow and choose to cope with the circumstances that will define you. A challenge should not be seen as a force that works against your overall …
