Allow Yourself to Shine Without the Desire to Be Seen

In a world driven by visibility, where success is often measured in likes, views, and followers, it’s all too easy to become entangled in the yearning to be noticed. Social media and societal expectations gently steer us toward seeking approval, urging us to crave recognition for our accomplishments, talents, and even the smallest details of our daily mundane lives. Yet, there is profound strength in embracing your own light, in daring to shine without the need for applause, without the hunger to be seen.

When you shine for yourself, you tap into the essence of who you are. It’s not about being recognised or seeking approval, but instead fulfilling your purpose and living in alignment with your own values, regardless of whether anyone else is watching. In fact, when the need to be seen is removed from the equation, you become free to pursue your passions and dreams from a place of genuine love and curiosity, rather than external expectations.

Shining authentically means embracing your gifts and expressing them fully, not for recognition, but for the sheer joy of it. It’s about finding fulfilment in the exploration, not in the destination marked by someone else’s approval.

When you shine with the sole desire to be seen, you hand over your power to others. Your worth becomes intertwined with external validation—approval from bosses, applause from an audience, or likes on a post. While recognition sure feels great in the moment, it’s always fleeting; depending on others to confirm your value makes it fragile.

More often than not chasing external validation creates a cycle of disappointment and self-doubt. It can also rob us of the simple, internal joy that comes from doing something purely because it resonates with us.

On the other hand, when you shine for yourself, success feels and becomes different. You’ll experience a sense of wholeness and satisfaction that no external validation can touch. You are enough as you are.

Letting go of the desire to be seen doesn’t mean hiding your talents or discrediting your strengths. It means releasing the need to broadcast them for approval. It’s about trusting that your worth is not dependent on others’ recognition. You shine because you are meant to, not because someone else says you should.

Here are a few ways to practice this mindset:

  1. Shift Your Focus Inward
Instead of focusing on how others perceive you, turn your attention inward. Ask yourself, Why do I do this? Does it bring me joy, fulfillment, or a sense of purpose? When you root your actions in internal satisfaction, the desire to be seen naturally fades away.
  2. Celebrate Private Victories
Not every success needs to be shared. Celebrate your private victories, big and small. Whether you’ve completed a project, reached a personal goal, or simply had a moment of clarity, let yourself savor these moments without the need to broadcast them.
  3. Detach from Outcome-Based Validation
Understand that sometimes, even your best work won’t be widely recognized, and that’s okay. Detach from the outcome and focus on the process. The magic lies in showing up and doing the work, not in the recognition that follows.
  4. Practice Mindful Gratitude
Gratitude is a powerful tool for grounding yourself in the present and appreciating your journey. Be grateful for the opportunity to express your creativity, for the growth that comes with each challenge, and for the beautiful moments of joy that come with pursuing what you love.
  5. Recognize the Value of Quiet Impact
Often, the most meaningful impact we have on others is unseen. A kind word, a thoughtful action, or simply showing up as your authentic self can inspire or uplift others in ways you may never know. Trust that your light shines, even when no one is watching.

When you no longer need to be seen to feel valuable, you cultivate a deep sense of confidence. This confidence is not fragile, because it isn’t based on how others perceive you. Instead, it comes from a place of knowing that your worth is inherent. You are enough, simply because you exist. True confidence is internal, and when it shines, it naturally attracts the right people and opportunities—without you having to seek them out.

With this being said, allowing yourself to shine without the desire to be seen is an act of self-liberation. It’s about finding contentment in who you are and how you live, regardless of whether anyone else notices. Your light is powerful enough on its own. The beauty of it is that, in shining for yourself, you may just illuminate the world around you more than you ever imagined. But even if no one notices, you’ll still be radiant. And that is enough.

Guided by Intuition

That feeling when you just understand, or know something, without the need for conscious reasoning. That immediate insight that emerges seemingly out of nowhere. It can manifest as a physical sensation—a tightening in the chest, a sudden clarity, or a quiet voice that whispers a direction.

But where does intuition come from? I don’t know, but I like to see it as a deep, and spiritual connection, a way for my inner most self to communicate with the more conscious part of me.

Intuition has always been a real and valuable aspect of my life. It’s not something I talk about often, simply because there are no words to describe it; it’s a feeling, a deep knowing inside that holds the truth, and learning to listen to it, is life-changing.

More often than not, intuitive choices lead you down a path that feels more aligned with who you are.

Why?

Because intuition is deeply personal. It’s not swayed by external factors or influenced by other people’s expectations. When you trust and rely on your intuition, you’re making choices that are true to your authentic self. This is particularly powerful in moments of uncertainty, or when facing decisions where the right choice isn’t immediately clear.

My intuition has always been that of a deep knowing, sometimes I even associate it to a psychic ability; I just know, and I can’t explain in words why I know – it’s simply a strong feeling in my entire body. And trust me, I know how frustrating it can be when you would like to explain yourself, but you just can’t, cause there are no words for the things beyond words.

This requires a deep trust in yourself. A trust I didn’t have when I was a child with a strong intuition. I simply chose to neglect and quiet down my inner voice. I didn’t understand its power. However, there were moments I chose to listen and follow it, and those are also the most valuable moments. Intuition is nothing without trust. If you don’t trust that hunch, that feeling, that knowing, you’re out of alignment with yourself. With great trust comes strong intuition.

Are there also other ways we can strengthen our intuition?

Of course. Like any skill, intuition can be developed and refined. Below you’ll find a few ways to strengthen your connection to your inner guide:

  1. Embrace silence: Intuition thrives in stillness. By practicing mindfulness or meditation, you quiet the outside noise of daily life and tune in to your inner world of wisdom. If you’re new to sitting in silence, start with just a few minutes a day, focusing on your breath and observing your thoughts without judgment. Over time, you’ll become more attuned to the subtle signals of your intuition.
  2. Pay Attention to Your Body: Intuition often communicates through physical sensations, like a flutter in the stomach, a tightness in the chest, or a sense of peace in the heart. These can all be indicators of what your intuition is trying to tell you. Start noticing how your body responds in different situations and see if there’s a pattern.
  3. Journal Regularly: Writing down your thoughts and feelings can help you tap into your intuition. Journal about decisions you’re facing and notice any recurring themes or insights that emerge. Often, the act of writing allows your intuitive thoughts to surface.
  4. Trust Small Hunches: I live by these! Listening to the quiet whispers of my soul; ”Go there.” ”Create this.” ”Try this.” – It’s my inner compass, my guide. Start with trusting your intuition in small, everyday matters. Whether it’s choosing what to eat, which route to take, or deciding on a new hobby, give your gut feeling a chance. As you see positive outcomes, you’ll build confidence in your intuition.
  5. Reflect on Past Decisions: Look back at times when you trusted your intuition and note the results. This reflection can reinforce your belief in your inner guidance and help you recognise its value in future decisions.

With this being said, intuition doesn’t mean abandoning logic or reason. The aim is to find a balance between the two. You’ll need both a map and a compass when travelling through life. Logic helps you understand the terrain, while intuition points you in the right direction.

Letting your intuition guide you requires practice, patience, and a deep willingness to trust yourself. We live in a world that often demands evidence and certainty, and trusting your intuition feels a little bit like stepping into the unknown. But as you begin to rely more on your intuition, you’ll find that life flows more naturally, with less friction and more moments of magic. Guided by your intuition your life will feel more authentic, covered by a greater sense of ease and clarity.

Ready to elevate your mornings? Let’s dive into some nurturing, creative, and soulful rituals you can start today.

1. Sacred Morning Stretch and Dance

While many morning routines emphasise rigid, high-intensity workouts, a more intuitive, flowing approach can help you awaken your body in a gentler way. Start every morning with a 10-15 minutes sacred morning stretch that honors your body’s rhythms. The goal is to listen to your body’s needs. What does it ask for? Maybe your body craves a high-intensity workout, or maybe it craves a more soulful stretch. Don’t be afraid to let your body lead the way.

Pro tip: Put on your favorite song and let your body move however it desires. Dancing in the morning activates your creativity and gets you out of your head and into your body—an instant mood booster!

2. Journal with Intention

Instead of the typical to-do list, begin your day by journaling with intention. Writing is a powerful way to connect with your inner self and set the tone for your day. Here’s a practice to try:

  • Write down three things you’re grateful for.
  • Follow up with your intentions for the day—don’t focus on goals, instead focus on how you want to feel.
  • Finish by scripting your day as if it’s already happened. Visualise yourself flowing through your day with ease and success, and write it down as a narrative. This you can do by writing or simply by visualising it in your mind.

This practice not only sets a positive tone but also helps manifest the reality you desire.

3. Divine Feminine Meditation

Feminine energy thrives when we slow down and go inward. A 10-15 minute guided meditation that focuses on connecting to your higher self, feminine energy, or the divine can create a profound sense of peace and clarity. Visualise a radiant light flowing through your body, nurturing and uplifting you. Trust where your intuition takes you. It doesn’t have to be or feel a certain way, simply allow your soul to come forth – and be curious what it has to say.

4. Morning Ritual Bath or Shower

Turn your morning shower into a sacred ritual. This isn’t just about cleansing your body; it’s about cleansing your energy. Set the intention to wash away any negativity, stagnant energy, or worries from the day before. As you stand under the water, visualise the water purifying your aura and imagine stepping out refreshed and renewed. It will work wonders for your entire being! It’s such a refreshing and purifying way to begin the day, it’s like you are being re-born every morning.

For an extra boost of femininity and self-love, you can infuse your shower with essential oils like lavender or rose. During the weekends, if you have more time, take a bath with Epsom salts, creating a spa-like experience in your own home. After, moisturise your entire body with your favorite body oil or lotion. While doing this speak to your body with love and care. Thank it for all it enables you to do.

5. Affirmations for Empowerment

Affirmations are a potent way to program your mind for success, confidence, and abundance. Spend 5 minutes each morning repeating powerful affirmations that speaks to you and your intentions. Here are a few high-vibe feminine affirmations to start with:

  • “I am aligned with my divine feminine energy.”
  • “I trust my intuition and inner wisdom.”
  • “I radiate love, joy, and creativity.”
  • “I embrace abundance in all forms.”
  • ”I am powerful and I do everything with grace and ease.”

Feel free to create your own affirmations. Saying them aloud in front of the mirror can make the experience even more powerful.

6. Create a Slow Morning Experience

Create a sensory experience for your morning—whether it’s savoring your morning beverage, lighting a scented candle while getting ready, reading a chapter in your favorite book, or wearing something that makes you feel beautiful and radiant.

Choose to mindfully engage with textures, scents, and tastes that bring you joy and make you feel present. This practice not only connects you to the here and now, but grounds you in gratitude and abundance.

7. Creative Flow Time

Starting the day with creativity reminds you that life isn’t just about productivity—it’s about expression, joy, and playfulness. Even a short burst of creative energy can fill you with inspiration and flow for the rest of the day. So, before jumping into your workday, spend 10-20 minutes on a creative project close to you heart. Feminine energy thrives on creativity. Whether it’s writing poetry, practicing photography, dancing or preparing your breakfast, tap into something that lights you up.

8. Nourishing Your Body

Fuel your body with foods that feel nourishing and make you feel energised. Focus on fresh berries, colorful fruits and whole foods that make you feel vibrant.

As you eat, instead of scrolling through your phone (I’m definitely guilty of this..) practice mindful eating by savoring each bite. This act of mindfulness during meals can bring you into a deeper connection with your body and its needs. Our bodies speak to us all the time, if we take the time to slow down and listen, we can actually hear what it has to say.

9. Connect with Nature

If possible, take a walk to work or school, even if it’s for just ten minutes. Connecting with nature is one of the most grounding and nurturing practices you can incorporate into your routine. Breathe in the fresh air, and soak in the sunshine – the most natural way to receive vibrant energy.

This can also be done through simple indoor rituals, like tending to your houseplants or opening a window and listening to birdsong. Nature’s energy is inherently feminine, and tuning into it aligns you with its balance and harmony.

And Some Final Thoughts…

These high-vibe feminine morning routines are all about embracing flow, joy, and alignment with your inner self. As women, we often feel pulled in so many directions, but by cultivating a sacred morning practice, we’re ready to step into our days feeling grounded, vibrant, and empowered.

Remember, you don’t have to do every practice listed here; it’s not about checking off a to-do-list. Choose the ones that resonate with you and give yourself permission to adjust them based on what your body, mind, and spirit need each morning.

The key is to honor your own personal feminine energy, nurture yourself from within, and embrace your unique rhythm—one high-vibe morning at a time.

5 Powerful Ways to Calm Down Your Nervous System Naturally

Stressful, hectic days have become a familiar part of life for many of us. Whether it’s the demands of work, personal challenges, or the fast pace of daily life, our nervous system often takes the hit. When overwhelmed, it can get trapped in ”fight, flight, freeze, or fawn” mode, leaving us feeling anxious, drained, and on edge. Thankfully, there are plenty of simple yet powerful ways to soothe your nervous system, restoring balance and bringing a sense of calm back into your life.

Below you’ll find a guide to 5 powerful techniques that can help you soothe your nervous system naturally:

1. Practice Deep Breathing

One of the quickest and most accessible ways to calm your nervous system is through your breath. When you’re stressed, your breathing tends to become shallow and rapid, triggering your body’s stress response even further. On the flip side, slow, deep breathing sends a signal to your brain that it’s safe to relax.

How to Practice:

Try the 4-7-8 technique:

  • Inhale deeply through your nose for 4 seconds.
  • Hold your breath for 7 seconds.
  • Exhale slowly through your mouth for 8 seconds. Repeat this cycle a few times, and you’ll begin to feel a shift in your body as tension eases and your nervous system begins to settle.

2. Engage in Mindful Movement

Gentle physical activity can have a profound effect on calming your nervous system. When we move, our bodies release endorphins—natural stress-relievers. Movement like walking, yoga, or stretching encourages mindfulness, where your attention focuses on the present moment and bodily sensations.

How to Practice:

  • Yoga: Try a restorative yoga pose like Child’s Pose, which help to release physical and mental tension.
  • Walking: A mindful walk in nature can be extremely calming, and helps you feel grounded and more at peace. Pay attention to the beauty of nature, and allow Mother Nature to fill you up with energy and strength.
  • Stretching: Start your day with some light stretching exercises to get your body prepared for the day ahead. Negative energy and repressed emotions tend to accumulate in our muscles, so it’s crucial to release and let go, and keep it flowing out of our bodies.

4. Practice Grounding Techniques

Grounding, or earthing, is the practice of reconnecting with the Earth to help reset your nervous system and alleviate anxiety. Whether you’re immersed in nature or simply envisioning a connection to the ground, this practice has been shown to produce a calming effect on the body. Grounding allows you to return to the present moment, fostering a sense of safety and security.

How to Practice:

  • Barefoot Walking: Take off your shoes and walk barefoot on grass, sand, or soil. The physical connection to the earth helps discharge excess energy from your body and grounds you.
  • Sensory Grounding: If you can’t get outside, focus on your senses to ground yourself. Identify five things you can see, four things you can touch, three things you can hear, two things you can smell, and one thing you can taste.

5. EFT tapping

EFT tapping (Emotional Freedom Techniques) is a holistic healing method that combines cognitive therapy with acupressure by tapping on specific meridian points on the body. Benefits of EFT tapping include stress reduction, relief from anxiety, improved emotional regulation, and reduced physical pain. It helps release negative emotions and limiting beliefs, promoting relaxation and emotional well-being. People may find it useful for addressing trauma, phobias, and even performance-related stress, as it can help re-wire negative thought patterns and improve overall mental and physical health.

Conclusion

Your nervous system is key to how you feel physically, mentally, and emotionally. By adding a few simple practices to your daily routine, you can naturally chill out your nervous system, handle stress better, and boost your overall sense of peace and well-being.

Remember, calming your nervous system isn’t a one-and-done deal—it’s all about making it a habit. When you do, you’ll likely notice a big difference in how you tackle life’s ups and downs with more ease and resilience.

Try incorporating one or two of these practices today and see how they work for you!

The Power of Authenticity

Embracing authenticity is one of the most powerful things you can do for yourself and those around you.

Authenticity is when you align your inner self—your values, beliefs, and emotions—with your outer actions and behaviors. It means living in a way that is true to who you are, rather than trying to fit into someone else’s idea of who you should be. When you are authentic, you are honest with yourself and others, and you make choices that reflect your true self.

Authenticity – Your biggest strength

People are naturally drawn to authenticity. When you are genuine, others can sense it. They know that what you say and do comes from a place of honesty and integrity. This builds trust, which is the foundation of any strong relationship—whether personal or professional. When you are authentic, you create space for others to be authentic as well, leading to deeper, more meaningful connections.

What is more, being authentic is like stepping into freedom; accepting yourself fully —flaws and all. This self-acceptance is liberating. When you stop trying to be someone you’re not, you free yourself from the burden of living up to unrealistic expectations. You begin to appreciate your unique qualities, talents and quirks, which boosts your self-esteem and confidence. Authenticity allows you to love yourself for who you are, not who you think you should be.

Living authentically means being true to who you are in every moment, even as you grow and change. Authenticity encourages you to explore your depths, your passions and ideas. Change is a vital part of life and to fully embrace the concept of being an ever evolving human going through cycles requires authenticity and honesty. When you are honest with yourself, you can work on self-improvement without the fear of judgment. This openness to change and growth is essential for personal development and for achieving your goals.

The more authentically you live, the more you will experience a sense of inner peace and fulfilment. You no longer waste time and energy on pretending to be someone you’re not or suppressing your true feelings. In other words, you are fully stepping into your most powerful and magnetic self. And the energy that you create by doing so is going towards the things that matter most to you and your life.

The Challenges of Authenticity

Being authentic is a powerful act, however, it’s not always easy. It requires both courage and vulnerability.

One of the biggest barriers to authenticity is the fear of rejection. You might think that if you show your true self, you won’t be accepted or liked. Sure, not everyone will appreciate your authenticity, but those who do will value you for who you truly are, which is far more rewarding than trying to please everyone.

Being authentic means being vulnerable. It means admitting when you’re wrong, showing your emotions, and sharing your true thoughts. Vulnerability can be scary because it exposes us to potential criticism and hurt. However, it’s also what makes us human and relatable. Embracing vulnerability is key to living authentically and forming genuine connections with others.

How to Cultivate Authenticity

To live authentically is to choose to embark on a continuous journey of self-discovery and growth. Below you’ll find some steps to help you cultivate authenticity:

  1. Know Thyself: Spend time reflecting on your values, beliefs, passions, and strengths. The better you understand yourself, the easier it will be to live authentically.
  2. Be Honest: Practice honesty with yourself and others. Speak your truth, even when it’s difficult.
  3. Embrace Vulnerability: Allow yourself to be vulnerable. Share your true thoughts and feelings with others, and don’t be afraid to admit when you don’t have all the answers.
  4. Set Boundaries: Protect your authenticity by setting boundaries. Don’t compromise your values or beliefs to fit in or please others.
  5. Surround Yourself with Support: Build a supportive community of people who encourage and appreciate your authenticity. Surround yourself with those who lift you up and allow you to be your true self.

The power of authenticity lies in its ability to transform your life from the inside out. And by embracing who you are, you not only empower yourself but also inspire others to do the same.

It’s Time To Step Into Your Power

My biggest struggle in life has been allowing myself to step into my power.

But, eventually there comes a pivotal moment, when one realises that one has been living below one’s potential.

From an early age I was playing small, dimming my light, and more often than not doubting my abilities. This realization can be both daunting and liberating. However, it was the moment when I decided to step into my power. Although the steps are small, they are moving me closer and closer towards my power, one step a time.

But what does it mean to step into your power?

If you ask me, then I would say that it’s all about fully embracing who you are and what you are capable of. It’s about recognizing your strengths, acknowledging your worth, and having the courage to live authentically. Generally this process involves shedding the limitations you’ve placed on yourself—whether from fear, societal expectations, or self-doubt—and stepping boldly into the life you were meant to lead.

The first step – Self-Awareness

The first step in this journey is self-awareness. To truly step into your power, you must understand who you are at your core. Be honest with yourself, and show yourself compassion and grace while you confront uncomfortable truths about yourself. There’s no rush, let it take time, it’s your journey after all.

What are your strengths? Weaknesses? What do you really love doing? What limiting beliefs are holding you back?

Be you, everyone else is already taken

Living authentically means being true to yourself, even when it’s uncomfortable or unpopular. It’s about expressing your true thoughts, feelings, and desires without fear of judgment. When you live authentically, you attract opportunities and relationships that align with your true self, rather than those that feed into a persona you’ve created to please other. Your authenticity is your most powerful strength – embrace it!

Take inspired action

Once you’ve embraced your authentic self and released all those nasty limiting beliefs, it’s time to take action. But not just any action—inspired action. This means moving forward with purpose and intention, guided by your inner wisdom and intuition. Inspired action feels natural, even if it’s challenging, because it’s aligned with your true desires. It just feels right!

Embrace resilience

Stepping into your power doesn’t mean life will suddenly become easy. You will still likely be faced with obstacles and setbacks. However, when you’re operating from a place of true power, you become resilient. You understand that challenges are a part of life (and sometimes makes life exciting!) and that they often lead to growth and deeper self-discovery. This resilience is what keeps you moving forward, even when the going gets tough.

Surround yourself with a supportive community

No one steps into their power alone. It’s essential to surround yourself with a supportive community—people who uplift you, encourage you, and challenge you to be your best self. These can be friends, mentors, coaches, or even online communities. The key is to find those who see your potential and are willing to help you step into it. Remember, when you are your most authentic self the people that are meant to find you will find you. You will cross each other’s path ❤

Celebrate your successes

Finally, it’s important to celebrate your successes, no matter how small. Acknowledging your progress helps build confidence and reinforces your belief in your abilities. It also creates a positive feedback loop that motivates you to keep moving forward.

With this being said, stepping into your power is a transformative process that requires courage, self-awareness, and a commitment to personal growth. It’s about reclaiming your life and living in alignment with your truest, most authentic self. And no, I wouldn’t say that it’s always easy, but definitely worth it. Be grateful to your past self that has taken you to where you are now, and be grateful to your present self that are guiding you forward.

Channel Your Self-Worth for Success

”Your worth is not something you earn; it’s something you recognize.”

To embrace and channel our self-worth in a world that constantly bombards us with expectations and comparisons, can be a real game-changer. Yes, success requires taking action, executing the right strategy, and maybe a little bit of luck. But there’s another ingredient that’s often overlooked but equally powerful: self-worth.

What is Self-Worth?

Self-worth is the deep-seated belief that you are valuable, deserving of love, and capable of achieving great things. It’s about recognising your inherent value and not letting external circumstances define your worth. You’re born, you’re breathing, you’re alive – meaning you are worthy. There’s nothing you need to do, or prove, to become worthy. The moment you were born, were the moment you were worthy.

When you truly believe in your worth, it influences every aspect of your life—from your relationships to your career and every little thing in between.

Why Self-Worth is Key to Success?

When you value yourself, you also trust your instincts and decisions. You’re less likely to second-guess yourself and this confidence allows you to make decisions that align with your true self, rather than what others expect of you.

What is more, when you have a strong sense of self-worth it will help you establish healthy boundaries, both personally and professionally. You become better at saying “no” to things that don’t serve you, or your well-being. Instead, your energy is directed towards what truly matters.

How to Cultivate and Channel Your Self-Worth

  1. Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself, especially when things don’t go as planned. Recognise that everyone makes mistakes and that your worth isn’t defined by them. Treat yourself with the same kindness and understanding you’d offer a friend or family member.
  2. Celebrate Your Achievements: Take time to acknowledge your accomplishments, no matter how small. This practice not only motivates you, but reinforces your value and reminds you of your capabilities.
  3. Surround Yourself with Positive Influences: The people you spend time with can significantly impact your self-worth. Surround yourself with those who uplift, support, and believe in you.
  4. Invest in Personal Growth: Continuously work on improving yourself, whether through education, skill development, or personal reflection. The more you grow, the more confident you become in your abilities and worth. However, one important thing to bear in mind; do this work for you, not to prove yourself to anyone. Choose to develop skills that are meaningful to you and your life! And this leads us to the final point…
  5. Set Goals Aligned with Your Values: Ensure that your goals reflect your true desires and values, not what you think will please others. When your goals align with your self-worth, you’re more motivated and fulfilled as you work towards them.

With this being said, when you have high self-worth, you will build a life that truly reflects your values, dreams, and potential. By cultivating a deep belief in your worth, you empower yourself to overcome challenges, seize opportunities, and create a fulfilling and successful life. Remember, your worth is not something you earn; it’s something you recognize.

How Your Subconscious Thoughts & Habits Shape Your Reality

Have you ever noticed how a bad mood can make everything around you seem a little darker? Or how, when you’re feeling confident and positive, the world seems to open up with opportunities? This is not just a coincidence; it’s a powerful demonstration of how your feelings and subconscious thoughts shape your reality.

Your mind is a powerful tool, and the thoughts we nurture—both consciously and subconsciously—play a significant role in creating the world we experience. Understanding this connection can empower you to take control of your thoughts and habits, and thereby your reality.

Your subconscious mind is the unseen creator of your reality. It’s the part of your mind that operates below the level of conscious awareness, storing your beliefs, memories, habits, and emotions. While you may not be aware of what’s going on in your subconscious, it significantly influences your behavior, decisions, habits and perceptions.

Unlike the conscious mind, which processes information slowly and logically, the subconscious operates automatically and effortlessly, guiding most of your daily actions without you even realising it. In fact, research suggests that up to 95% of our behaviors and decisions are driven by subconscious programming.

For instance, if you’ve subconsciously absorbed the belief that you’re not good enough, you may find yourself sabotaging opportunities or avoiding challenges, reinforcing this belief. Conversely, if your subconscious is filled with positive affirmations about your capabilities, you’re more likely to seize opportunities and tackle challenges with ease.

The power of the subconscious mind lies in its ability to shape your perceptions. It filters the vast amount of information you receive daily, choosing what to focus on and how to interpret it. This filtering process is influenced by your existing beliefs and feelings, meaning that the reality you perceive is, in many ways, a reflection of what’s already in your mind.

Your Habits Shape Your Reality

Habits are the building blocks of your daily life. They are actions that you perform regularly, often without conscious thought. Because habits are ingrained in your subconscious, they have a powerful influence on your reality. Here’s how:

  1. Consistency Over Time: Small, repeated actions have a cumulative effect. A habit of saving a small amount of money regularly can lead to significant financial security over time. Similarly, unhealthy habits, like overeating or neglecting exercise, can lead to serious health issues. The key is to recognize that your habits, whether positive or negative, are shaping your future reality every day.
  2. Energy and Focus: Your habits determine where you direct your energy and focus. Productive habits, like setting goals, planning your day, and prioritising important tasks, help you channel your energy toward meaningful outcomes. Unproductive habits, such as constantly checking social media or avoiding difficult tasks, drain your energy and hinder your progress.
  3. Self-Image and Confidence: The habits you cultivate reflect your self-image. If you habitually take care of your wellbeing, eat well, manage your time, and pursue personal growth, you reinforce a positive self-image, which boosts your confidence. Conversely, if your habits are self-destructive, they can consume your self-esteem and reinforce negative beliefs about yourself.

The Power of Awareness and Intention

The good news is that you have the power to break negative thoughts and habits, and by that create a reality that aligns with your desires. The key is awareness—becoming conscious of the thoughts and habits that are shaping your experience—and intention—choosing to change them.

  1. Cultivate Awareness: Start by paying attention to your thoughts and emotions, especially in challenging situations. Notice the beliefs that underlie these thoughts. Are they empowering or limiting? Awareness is the first step in changing subconscious patterns.
  2. Challenge Limiting Beliefs: Once you’ve identified a limiting belief, challenge it. Ask yourself if it’s really true or if it’s something you’ve unconsciously accepted. Replace negative beliefs with positive affirmations that align with the reality you want to create.
  3. Practice Emotional Management: Learn to manage your emotions by practicing mindfulness, meditation, or other techniques that help you stay grounded and centered. By taking control of your emotional state, you can change the way you perceive and react to the world.
  4. Visualise Your Desired Reality: Visualisation is a powerful tool for reshaping your subconscious mind. Regularly imagine yourself living the life you desire, focusing on the emotions and experiences you want to attract. Over time, this practice can help shift your subconscious beliefs and align your reality with your intentions. And most importantly; start taking action in accordance with your highest self.

Your reality is not fixed; it’s shaped by the ongoing interplay of your thoughts, feelings, subconscious mind and habits. By becoming aware of this process and taking control of your internal world, you can start to transform your external world in successful ways.

Remember, you are the creator of your reality. The thoughts you think and the feelings you nurture are powerful forces that can either limit or expand you. Choose to cultivate an abundant mindset, challenge limiting beliefs, and embrace the habits that support your highest self. In doing so, you’ll find that the world around you slowly but surely begins to change, reflecting the beauty, abundance, and love that resides within you.

How Your Small Daily Habits Lead to Big Change

We live in a world, where we easily find ourselves being obsessed with quick fixes and instant gratification, and the idea that small daily habits can have a profound impact on our lives often goes overlooked. Yet, the truth is, it’s not the grand gestures twice a year that bring about lasting change, but rather the small, consistent actions we take every day. These habits, when repeated consistently over time, can lead to transformative results, and can shape our future for the better.

Let’s dig into this a bit further…

The Compound Effect of Small Habits

One of the most compelling reasons to focus on small daily habits is the power of the compound effect. This concept, popularized by Darren Hardy in his book The Compound Effect, highlights how small, seemingly insignificant actions, when repeated over time, can lead to significant outcomes.

Consider the simple habit of learning a new language for 15 minutes every day. At first, it might not seem like much. But over a year, that adds up to 91 hours of learning and studying. Now, imagine the knowledge gained from that time invested in learning. This same principle applies to any area of your life: whether it’s exercising, saving money, or learning a new skill, small daily actions accumulate to create substantial progress.

Building Momentum and Confidence

Starting with small, manageable habits helps build momentum. When you set goals that are too ambitious, you risk feeling overwhelmed and discouraged if you don’t achieve them right away. On the other hand, small habits are easy to start and maintain, providing quick wins that boost your confidence, as well as motivation.

For example, if you want to start a fitness routine, beginning with just 10 minutes of exercise is achievable for almost anyone. As you stick with this habit, you’ll likely find it easier to increase the duration and intensity of your workouts. Each small success reinforces the belief that you are capable of making positive changes in your life.

Consistency Over Perfection

A mindset that you need to get rid of asap is the all-or-nothing mindset—the idea that if you can’t do something perfectly, it’s not worth doing at all. However, perfection is your biggest enemy. Consistency, even in small doses, is far more valuable than sporadic bursts of intense effort.

Let’s take the example of learning a new language. If you try to cram 2-3 hours once a week, you’ll likely feel burnt out and frustrated by the lack of progress. But if you commit to just 15 minutes of practice every day, you’ll be amazed how much you can learn over time. By being consistent you build skills gradually and steadily, making the learning process more enjoyable and less daunting.

I will take myself as an example. One year ago I decided to start listening to Italian every day for 10-20 minutes. Now, one year later I can happily say that I’m at a B1-B2 level. It was mostly passive learning, since I only listened to Italian, and did not practise my speaking. So, from now on I guess I’ll have to start speaking Italian for 10-20 minutes every day. Forming a new habit at its best!

Daily Habits Create Lasting Change

Your life is made up of your daily habits. Over time, your habits shape your identity and the person you become. By focusing on small, positive habits, daily, you can gradually reshape your behaviors and mindset, leading to lasting change.

Moreover, small habits are easier to sustain over the long term. When you develop small, automatic habits, they become part of your routine, requiring less conscious effort to maintain. This makes it easier to stick with your goals, even when life gets busy or challenging.

Practical Tips for Building Small Daily Habits

  1. Start Small: Choose a habit that is so easy, you can’t say no. This could be as simple as drinking a glass of water every morning or writing one sentence in a journal each day.
  2. Attach to an Existing Habit: Pair your new habit with something you already do regularly. For example, if you want to start meditating, you could do it right after brushing your teeth in the morning.
  3. Track Your Progress: Use a habit tracker or a simple checklist to mark off each day you complete your habit. Seeing your progress visually can be incredibly motivating.
  4. Be Patient: Remember, it’s not about immediate results, but about building consistency. Give yourself time and grace to establish the habit.
  5. Celebrate Small Wins: Recognise and celebrate your progress, no matter how small. This reinforces positive behavior and keeps you motivated.

With this being said, it’s not about making dramatic changes overnight, but about making small, consistent efforts every day.

So, what small habit will you start today?

How to outgrow yourself

”Stop shrinking to fit places you have outgrown.”

Change is not always easy, but necessary. Stop playing small, challenge your comfort zones and release limiting beliefs holding you back from evolving. It’s time to put yourself in the driver’s seat.

First things first, you need to start identifying the limiting beliefs that are holding you back. Limiting beliefs are like invisible chains that keep us from reaching our full potential. These are the thoughts and assumptions we hold about ourselves and the world that prevent us from taking risks, pursuing our dreams, and living the life we truly desire. They can manifest in various forms, such as ”I’m not good enough,” ”I don’t deserve success,” or ”It’s too late for me to change.” If you’ve ever found yourself stuck in a rut, unable to move forward despite your best efforts, these beliefs might be the root cause.

What Are Limiting Beliefs?

Limiting beliefs are convictions that we hold to be true, but in reality, they are merely perceptions influenced by past experiences, societal expectations, or negative self-talk. These beliefs often reside in our subconscious, shaping our decisions, behaviors, and overall outlook on life without us even realising it.

For example, a person who was criticised for their creativity as a child might grow up believing they are not creative, leading them to avoid careers or hobbies that require creative thinking. Over time, this belief solidifies, limiting their opportunities and suffocating their potential.

Identifying Limiting Beliefs

The first step to overcoming limiting beliefs is recognizing them. This requires self-awareness and introspection. Here are some strategies to help you identify these hidden barriers:

  1. Listen to Your Self-Talk: Pay attention to the thoughts that cross your mind when you’re faced with a challenge. Do you find yourself thinking, ”I can’t do this” or ”I’m not smart enough”? These are signs of limiting beliefs at play.
  2. Examine Your Patterns: Reflect on areas of your life where you feel stuck or unfulfilled. Are there recurring themes or excuses you tell yourself? For instance, if you consistently avoid taking on leadership roles, you might believe you’re not capable of leading others.
  3. Seek Feedback: Sometimes, others can see our blind spots better than we can. Ask trusted friends, family members, or mentors for their perspective on areas where you might be holding yourself back.

Challenging Limiting Beliefs

Once you’ve identified your limiting beliefs, the next step is to challenge them. This involves questioning the validity of these beliefs and replacing them with more empowering ones.

  1. Gather Evidence: Look for evidence that contradicts your limiting belief. For example, if you believe you’re not creative, recall instances when you solved a problem creatively or received praise for your ideas. This will help you see that your belief is not entirely accurate.
  2. Reframe Your Thinking: Replace negative thoughts with positive, affirming ones. Instead of saying, ”I can’t do this,” try saying, ”I’m capable of learning and improving.” This shift in mindset can help you approach challenges with a growth-oriented perspective.
  3. Take Small Steps: Overcoming limiting beliefs doesn’t happen overnight. Start by taking small, manageable steps that push you out of your comfort zone. Each success, no matter how small, will build your confidence and weaken the grip of your limiting beliefs.

Cultivating an Empowering Mindset

Breaking free from limiting beliefs is an ongoing process that requires consistent effort and self-reflection. Here are some practices to help you cultivate a more empowering mindset:

  1. Practice Self-Compassion: Be kind to yourself when you encounter setbacks. Recognize that challenges are a natural part of growth and don’t define your worth or abilities.
  2. Surround Yourself with Positivity: Engage with people who inspire and uplift you. Surrounding yourself with positive influences can help reinforce your new, empowering beliefs.
  3. Visualize Success: Spend time visualizing your goals and the person you want to become. Visualization can strengthen your belief in your abilities and keep you motivated on your journey. Start showing up as that person, and take action in alignment with your most elevated self.

Conclusion

By identifying, challenging, and replacing limiting beliefs with more empowering ones, we can unlock new opportunities for personal growth and success. Remember, the key to breaking free from these mental chains lies within you—your willingness to question, learn, and embrace change.

Challenge your limiting beliefs, and watch as new possibilities unfold before you. Your future self will thank you for it.
