October intentions

”Nature does not hurry, yet everything is accomplished.” – Lao Tzu Every once in a while it’s good to take a seat in the passenger seat, and take time to reflect; catch up on your thoughts, behaviours, intentions and goals. Writing down clear intentions in the beginning of each month is a great way to tap into yourself, your wants and desires. After declaring your monthly intentions you’re ready to take inspired action. If you commit to your intentions by taking aligned action, you’ll likely end up where you want to go (or somewhere even better).  ”Vivid as the ocean, infinite as the sky, colourful as the leaves go by. Take a glimpse at nature, a glimpse at the stars; remember, your true power is always found within, and beneath, your scars.”   1. Patience (is also a form of action) ”Just let it naturally evolve” Or like Buddha once said; ”Be where you are; otherwise you will miss your life.” Show gratitude for what you have, for where you are at the exact moment. …

Positivity boost

”Dear human, something wonderful is about to happen.”   There are days when I have to remind also myself of the things I speak so highly of. Like for example the importance of having a positive mindset, no matter what life throws at you. There are a few empowering self beliefs that have the power to change your life. Simply ‘cause I strongly believe; you become what you believe. Our beliefs determine how we treat ourselves, but also how we choose to live our life and treat other people. These beliefs are deeply rooted within us, and therefore it can be very hard to change them. If you notice that your self beliefs are too negative then it’s only one person who can help you, and that person is you. However, in order to change something you first have to become aware of the ”problem”. Bring awareness into your life; the first step in reframing your thoughts is to listen and be aware of them so you can better understand them and your behaviour. The …

The Law of Attraction

”I have the power to create my own reality.” What you send out into the universe – your thoughts, feelings, words – you attract into your life. Using positive thinking, abundant thinking, visualization and setting intentions are great things in order to start creating the life you want. It’s all about shifting your focus. Shifting your perspectives. Like turning a negative day into a great day. It all starts with you.  However, it’s not enough to simply write or speak about the things you want in life. You have to believe, in order to receive. If you don’t believe in yourself and all that you’re capable of, nothing much will grow out of it. What is more you’ll have to begin to take inspired action, daily. It’s not enough to simply sit on the coach, listening to inspirational podcasts or visualising dreams and goals coming through (I’m sure guilty of that!) ”Bring your thoughts to a higher level.” In order for the magic to start flowing into your life you’ve to take action. Action, my dear. …

Dear August…

… I think you’ll make my soul dance. ”Believe in yourself, darling human. Believe. Flowers will grow.”   August is for humid days, foggy nights. Soul searching and loving kindness. It’s for vulnerability and softness. Finding that inner, burning fire. Moonlight and thunderstorm. Poetry filled with soul and passion, the wildest of dreams coming true. It has always been you, dear August. Always been you.  Be brave, darling dear. Be brave. Everything you wish for, believe, and it will come to you. Don’t you know you were created to create? Create magic. Create yourself. If it’s meant to be it will flow to you, effortlessly and oh so gently. Give yourself permission to relax and enjoy the magic of being. Breathe in confidence. Exhale doubt. Stay wild, darling moon child, stay wild. Life always has your back. This August is all about success, bravery and dusty, dreamy mornings. Things working out exactly as supposed to. It’s about true inner freedom. Not getting lost in thoughts, but objectively watching them pass by. ”Come to know the one who watches the …

How to get through difficult change

”Your eyes talk to me all the time. Totally unaware of your words, speaking their own, unique language.   I like that language.”   Change is inevitable, growth is optional. Whether or not it’s good change, bad change – change we create ourselves or change that we don’t have control over – both natural and spontaneous changes will happen throughout your life. Don’t resist them, since that only creates sadness and struggle, instead learn to flow with the current. Letting things flow naturally is, however, easier said than done. It requires a great deal of patience and an eagerness to reclaim the power that might have been lost along the way. Last but not least, you should always remember not to be too hard on yourself. You’re only human after all.   ”It’s not the strongest of the species that survive, nor the most intelligent, but the one most responsive to change.” – Charles Darwin   With this being said, below you’ll find a few life perspectives that hopefully can assist you when you find …

How to give yourself a mental makeover

”Be pure, bright, white, light”   You can take your life in a new direction at any time. Every now and then it’s good to change things up, to keep things (thoughts) fresh, in order to stay motivated and inspired. It’s easy to become under-stimulated if you keep on doing the same things, over and over again. In a sense it’s like driving on autopilot, where you just keep on moving forward, and still, you haven’t got the slightest idea what you’re doing, cause you’re not the one in control. Then it’s about time; Time to open up for fresh, new perspectives to enter.  If you’re looking for a mini life-makeover, then, first things first, you need to start from within. In other words, start with your mental state, since most often it’s the root to all problems. If you don’t change what’s going on inside your mind – with your thoughts, who you are and the way you think about certain things – then it’s going to be very hard to find a new sense of …

How to change and replace limiting beliefs

”You don’t grow when things are easy. You grow when you face challenges.”   Limiting beliefs can be very sneaky, and so powerful that no matter how hard we try to control our thoughts and emotions they keep preventing us from attracting what we want in life. But what are the most common limiting beliefs stopping us from reaching our fullest potential? And what can we do in order to change and replace them for good?  A limiting belief is a belief that stops us from doing something or changing; almost like an invisible barrier that prevents us from what we truly want. It’s something that we say to ourselves and that blocks us from moving forward or achieving our goals. The nasty voice in your head that says; I can’t do it. Limiting beliefs are generally based on past experiences, our childhood, the way we were raised, our culture etcetera. They are deeply rooted within us, usually on a subconscious level, and therefore, we might not be fully aware of what they are, and the negative effect …

To flow with the current

”Don’t fight life – live it.” Life is continuously changing; it’s a series of natural and spontaneous changes. If you’re looking for permanent peace and happiness learn to be comfortable with everything that’s unfolding; circumstances taking place, feelings and emotions running through your body, people dancing in and out of your life. It’s the nature of life. It’s the nature of your being. The more I think about it; enjoying every aspect of life, and all that it’s presenting us with, is the only rational thing to do. Or as Michael A. Singer puts it: ”You’re sitting on a planet spinning around in the middle of absolutely nowhere. Go ahead, take a look at reality. You’re are floating in empty space in a universe that goes on forever. If you have to be here, at least be happy and enjoy the experience. You’re going to die anyway. Things are going to happen anyway. Why shouldn’t you be happy? You gain nothing by being bothered by life’s events. It doesn’t change the world; you just suffer. …

Friday Feeling – Patience

”No one is an overnight success story. Put in the work.”   Sometimes what we want doesn’t happen when or how we want it to. But that doesn’t mean the answer is ”no” it just mean ”not right now”, or ”I have a better plan for you, sincerely the Universe”. I believe the main difference between successful and unsuccessful people is not the way they vary in their competencies, but the way they vary in their ambition, and desires to reach their potential. Persistence is key, since good things usually take time. Below you’ll find a few important mindsets to carry with you during times when giving up is the only thing on your to-do-list; Practise gratitude. It’s extremely easy to get caught up in other peoples’ success stories. However, spending time dwelling on the things you haven’t achieved yet, or comparing yourself with others won’t take you anywhere. Focus on you. Be thankful of the things you have accomplished so far. Write down all of your achievements – big and small, and start being …
