The moment in-between

The space most of us rush past. Ignore.
Not the beginning. No the end.
Just the middle. The pause.
The moment in-between.

It’s the quiet after all is done,
but before the next flood of inspiration hits again.
The space between one thing and the next.
The refreshing exhale before something new begins.

But we choose to fill it.
With noise. With scrolling. With productivity.
This constant urge to go go go.
Stillness can feel like discomfort.
Boredom can feel like ”I am boring”.
Silence can be frightening. Empty.

But what if you just started to listen?

What if those in-between moments —
are the places where you can finally hear yourself breathe?

The pause where you feel your energy move through your body.
The silent spaciousness where you remember
you don’t have to become anything to already be worthy.

This is not the absence of life.
This is life. You are life.
Unperformed. Unedited. Undistracted.

Peaceful.

What if you let yourself pause?

Be in the slowness.
Be in the quiet.
Just be.
Be.

Stay in the now — even when it’s not exciting.

Let yourself:

  • Sit with the pause instead of rushing to fill it.
  • Feel your breath without the need to change it.
  • Notice your surroundings, without judgement.
  • Be in a moment without needing it to be productive or profound.

There is wisdom in the pause, clarity in the mundane,
a soft kind of healing in the in-between.

You do not always need a breakthrough.
Sometimes, you just need to be with yourself, in silence.

What if the biggest success is happening within?
The powerful moment in-between.

Part 3; The Season of Becoming

After the emptying, after the soft, slow season of receiving, happens a quiet shift. A gentle blooming.

This is the season of becoming. Or should I say – the season of returning to the real you.

It won’t be a sharp turning point, nor a grand transformation. But a subtle unfolding. A moment when you begin to realise: I no longer need to try so hard to be who I already am.

Becoming is what happens after you’ve made space, after you’ve received. It’s the natural order of living in integrity with your inner being. Nothing needs to be forced. It effortlessly arises.

This season is filled with forward movement — but not the panicky, grasping kind of action. This is inspired action. It’s rooted, quiet and confident. There’s no more chasing. You’re creating, expressing, responding. You’re living from completeness, not from lack.

There’s no need to declare this metamorphose.
Your energy speaks louder than your words now.
This is you, naturally.

Let yourself:

  • Make decisions that reflect your worth, not your wounds.
  • Say yes because you truly want to, not out of obligation.
  • Let clarity guide your next steps — even if they’re small.
  • Share and express your voice, your art, your truth — not to be seen, but to be free.
  • Release what no longer aligns, without guilt or over-explaining.

In this season, life begins to reflect back the internal work you’ve been doing. Not immediately, nor all at once. But steadily. Subtly. Authentically.

This is not a return to the hustle and constant busyness. It’s you being whole, participating in your life with open eyes and a conscious and calm heart.

You’re not chasing anymore — but you are moving in the right direction.

You do not feel the need to prove yourself anymore — but you are showing up.

There’s beauty in this cycle —

Emptying.
Receiving.
Becoming
.

And the beauty is: it’s continual.

Over and over, throughout your life, you’ll return to the sacred flow of shedding, slowing down, and stepping forward. Each time, more of you will come forth.

So when the next disentanglement comes, invite it.
It only means the next version of you is ready to bloom.

Your body – the home you carry everywhere

Your body; the one place you’ll live in for your entire life, no matter where you go, what you achieve, or how much your circumstances change it will always be with you as long as you breathe. It is the temple that holds your thoughts, your emotions, your stories; the only home your soul has known in this lifetime.

And still, how often do we forget to care for it the same way we would a precious house or sacred space?

Before you knew language, you knew sensations such as touch, scent, sight, sound and taste. From day one your body has been communicating with you. Every cell of your body holds information. Have you ever taken the time to listen?

Like any home, your loving body requires maintenance — it feeds on rest, nourishment, movement, and compassion. It needs to be listened to when something isn’t working quite right, and appreciated for all the wonderful things it allows you to do each day: breathing, walking, creating, loving, laughing. Living.

However, many of us choose to treat our bodies with criticism rather than gratitude. We fixate on how the body looks rather than how the body feels. We ignore its cries for attention and care, running it into the wall while wanting it to look perfect. But how about feeling perfectly at peace?

Would you talk to your beloved childhood-home that way — pointing out only its faults, and ignoring its warmth and history?

Your body knows before you do; it speaks to you in somewhat mysterious ways. Your job is to tap into the wisdom it carries, and let it guide you through every one of your life experiences. Your body holds your resilience, your healing, your presence, and your awareness. It tells your story before you have expressed it in words.

Treat your body like a precious home. Cleanse it with sleep and nourishing foods, feed it with grace and care, move it with joy, and decorate it with self-love. But most importantly, speak to it with kindness.

You wouldn’t scream at the walls of your house for not being perfect would you?

So offer your body the same gentle care.

You can change your outer appearance in so many different ways — but you still live there. So make it a space that feels safe, empowered, and alive. After all, no matter where you go and who you are, your body goes with you. Carry it with your heart.

Part 2; The Season of Receiving

I allow magic to enter my life.

After the season of creating space comes a different kind of stillness — not the stillness of letting go, but the stillness of receiving.

Now that space has been made, there is room for grace to enter. Room for the gentle, the unexpected, the deeply aligned. But this season asks for a different kind of strength — one that doesn’t grasp or demand, but waits with trust.

It’s a quiet courage: there is no rush to fill the silence.
But to let the soil remain untouched a little longer.
To let the garden grow in its own rhythm.

You are not behind.
You are not late.
You are not lost.

You are becoming fluent in a new language: receptivity.

Let this be a time where you say yes only when your whole body lights up in response. Where you welcome softness not as a luxury, but as a necessity. Where you let yourself be surprised by what comes — because you no longer need to control it to feel safe.

This is the season where discipline becomes loyalty.

Loyalty to yourself.
To your boundaries.
To your breath.
To your evolution.

Keep nurturing — not the result, but the intention. Keep aligning — not with expectations, but with what feels deeply authentic. Keep listening — not for noise, but for the words that arise from the silence.

Let yourself:

  • Open to abundance without questioning if you deserve it.
  • Rest without needing to earn it.
  • Speak from the heart.
  • Connect without performing.
  • Receive without guilt.

This isn’t about building a life from ambition.
It’s about letting your life meet you where you’re at— because you’ve made space for it to fit in.

The universe doesn’t ask you to be perfect; it asks you to be present.

You’re not becoming someone.
You’re becoming available to the life that’s always lingered just beneath the noise.

And the moment you feel that little spark — the pull, the intuitive hint, the quiet knowing — don’t doubt it. Trust the version of you that made space for it.

She always knew.
She still does.

Part 1; Your season of inner spaciousness

The season of creating space; making room for the fresh, the new. Honest and truthful beliefs, thoughts, and habits. It’s not about becoming a new person, but about returning to the real you.

You don’t need to escape the world to reconnect with your true essence— try anchoring yourself throughout the day with small rituals. A deep breath before checking your phone. A moment of stillness before answering someone. Presence to connect before making a decision. Tiny gestures like these say, “I’m here. I remember myself.”

The season of emptying.

This is not emptiness as in ”lack.” It’s emptiness as in rich, fertile soil. You’re clearing out old roots, old stagnant energies, making room for a love, a life that doesn’t require you to shrink or prove yourself to another.

Stillness is not emptiness. It is sacred space for truth to bloom.

Let yourself:

  • Sleep in your own rhythm.
  • Say no without guilt.
  • Explore who you are when you’re not being watched.
  • Journal your truth without editing it.
  • Let beauty in — music, art, nature, movement— not to impress, just to feel.
  • Practice not chasing. Let life come to you.

This is a shift from proving to belonging.

When you act from proving, you’re chasing things, whether it’s validation, love or status. When you act from belonging, you’re inviting everything that is meant to be — from a rooted, centered place.

It’s not about taking a break from life, or a relationship – you’re taking a break from the energetic posture of a certain habit. You’re ending a relationship with a pattern, with an identity, with a belief that says ”I am not enough.” It’s you choosing to come home to yourself before opening the door to something new. Not out of bitterness or fear – but out of clarity, reverence and self-respect.

There’s something beautiful about letting yourself not know what’s next in your life. Not planning it. Not striving for it. Just tending to your own garden. Because eventually, the life you attract will be a reflection of this grounded version of you — the one who knows she doesn’t have to chase anything.

Embrace patience, but know that patience isn’t just ”waiting nicely”. Maybe patience is compassion with yourself in motion. It’s allowing yourself to tremble while you learn to walk a new way.

When the soil is ready, the bloom always comes. And it won’t require you to earn it. It’ll recognize you, just as you are.

In-between seasons

It’s that time of the year when the body is slowly easing into the warmer and lighter days. Almost feels like nature all of a sudden decided to go from winter to spring. Yesterday’s darkness transforming into pure sunlight.

I love the in-between moments, when the winds of change stir, but the horizon remains unclear. You smell possibilities, lingering in the air. Be it nature waking up from her slumber, or your own life unfolding in a new direction; these are the moments when a new curiosity begins to bloom.

The uncertainty is often filled with questions; What is to come? Will everything be alright? Even when things are likely to be alright, our minds can still cast shadows of doubt. As surely as flowers find their time to bloom, your path will open as it’s meant to. Just look back at previous moments in your life, when everything turned out well, or better than expected. At times, our only job is to trust.

These so-called ”waiting periods” can easily be regarded as boring, it’s like staring at a blank canvas, pencil just out of reach, eager to begin. However, there is a lesson to be learned during this time. The importance of getting ready, being prepared. Just like you spring clean your home and closet, take time to refresh your mind and thoughts too. Keep what serves you, and let go of the mental clutter. Although we can never be fully prepared of what’s to come, there is always the chance to clear space, and make room for the fresh, the new.

Open the first page of a new journal and start filling it with thoughts, dreams, and ideas you’re ready to see bloom. And then, continue with your day; go to the park, read a book, take a walk in nature. Whatever you do, don’t dwell in your mind. Let the warmth of spring guide you. She will show you how to bloom.

The Power of Authenticity

We spend our lives seeking answers, as if they were buried deep within others’ minds, only to realise that the truth isn’t a single right answer – it lies within us.

There’s something truly magical about authentic people. They move through the world with unwavering sincerity, fully embracing their unique perspectives, passions, and values. And in doing so, they inspire and create space for others to do the same.

Think about it for a while; The greatest innovations usually come from those who dare to think differently. Fully rooted within themselves, they don’t seek validation; they follow their inner compass. The path may not always be straight or easy, but it’s one that stays true to who they are.

Breaking Free from the Fear of Judgment

One of the biggest reasons people struggle to be themselves is the fear of judgment. But here’s the truth: No matter what you do, people will always have opinions. Some will support you, others won’t. Since judgment is inevitable, why not be judged for staying true to your most authentic self?

Instead of seeking acceptance from others, prioritise self-respect. Instead of chasing approval, embrace self-expression. The world needs you, it doesn’t need you being a copy of someone else.

You will never influence the world by trying to be like them.

A content and peaceful life starts the moment you stop trying to be like everyone else. Embrace your quirks, think differently, and pursue your passions without hesitation. True innovation and magic happen when people have the courage to be themselves.

So, the next time you feel the pressure to conform, remember: You will never influence the world by trying to be like them. Stay true to yourself, and the world will take notice.

What Ballet Has Taught Me: Starting in My 40s

Ballet est l’amour.

I never imagined I would start ballet in my early 40s. Ballet belonged to another world—one of childhood dreams and youthful flexibility, of effortless grace and lifelong training. Yes, my teenage years were largely spent doing gymnastics, which undoubtedly provided me with a strong foundation. But something inside me whispered: Why not ballet, and why not now? At first, I discovered ballet through watching YouTube classes online, but eventually, I decided to step into a studio for the first time, feeling both excited and a little absurd – Ain’t I’m too old for this?! I was a beginner among beginners, and yet, I felt at peace.

Ballet has been one of the greatest gifts I have ever given myself. It is not only the movement—It is a language of its own, a conversation between the body and the soul—spoken in French, a language I must admit I do not speak, at all. But I do speak love, and ballet, after all, is love. Every time I show up in class it teaches me patience, not only with the steps and the technique but first and foremost, with myself. The progress is slow and exceptionally humbling. Some days, my body resists, in-between the soreness and aches, a reminder that time has shaped it differently. But then, there are these moments—fleeting, yet sincere—when everything seems to align, and I feel strong, and free.

More than anything, ballet has deepened my love and appreciation for my body. In a world that urges us to resist time and constantly highlights our imperfections, ballet has taught me to embrace and celebrate my body. Each plié, each tendu, each graceful extension is a reminder that my body is not something to be judged but something to be cherished. My body is capable. My body is resilient. It is alive.

While I feel more at ease at the barre than on the floor, I know that the true magic happens in the open space. On the floor, you are free—no longer holding on to anything. Yet, the barre is where you build confidence, strength, and the belief in yourself that allows you to one day let go.

Ballet is not easy. It demands discipline, an utter strength, and focus. It asks you to show up, even when you feel discouraged, and afraid you will mess up. But in return, ballet gives you something rare and beautiful—I have never experienced anything quite like ballet in its ability to bring me fully into the present. When I dance, the past holds no regrets, and the future carries no worries—there is only now; the music, the movement, and the quiet joy of being here. Once more, I feel like a curious child—open, and hungry to learn, not just about the discipline, but about myself.

Starting ballet at this stage in life is undeniably a lesson in humility, perseverance, and self-love. It is proof that new beginnings are always possible, and that sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is simply begin.

While my inner child may still dream of dancing on a grand stage, the adult in me understands that the true reward lies in the journey itself. In the quiet, unexpected joy of moving through life with an artist’s heart.

E-book: Relax, my darling, unwind – A Guide to Living in the Present Moment

“Relax, my darling, unwind. You are coming home, to yourself.”

The present moment – the only moment that matters, the only moment that exists. We humans are very good at preparing to live, but not very good a living. Habitually dwelling in the past and dreaming of the unknown future, while having difficulties concentrating the mind on the present moment.

In a world that constantly pushes us to do more, be more, and achieve more, the idea of slowing down can feel counterintuitive. Our society glorifies busyness, and productivity is often equated with success, and that crucial rest is mistaken for laziness. But what if the true essence of a fruitful life isn’t in the rush, but in the still, quiet moment in-between? What if joy, clarity, and contentment are found not in doing more but in being present?

The Pause That Changes Everything

As you plan for the year ahead and navigate daily life, there is one important thing to bare in mind – the power of the intentional pause.

What do I mean with an intentional pause?

It’s about taking a breather, that crucial pause when you reconnect with your body, and ask yourself; Is this in alignment with who I am? Is what I’m doing and feeling/thinking right now taking me closer to who I want to become?

The more aware you are of yourself and your inner state, the easier it will be to make the right decisions. You see, when you are fully connected with your body, mind and spirit it won’t be as easy to fall astray.

I am here now, in this moment. There is nowhere else I need to be.

The intentional pause is about reassessing and readjusting if necessary, or simply about confirming; Yes I am right where I need to be right now. All is well. It’s not about judging yourself if or when you have fallen off track, rather, it’s about being aware, with emphasis on the being.

Need inspiration? Just look at nature during winter. It’s like she has decided to take a long intentional pause, being in her calm, quiet and serene era. She just allows herself to be. And underneath her thick white fluffy snow, all her flowers and plants are slowly coming back to life, as nothing is never stagnant, everything is constantly changing, moving forward, recharging, slowly developing, just as the seeds preparing themselves for that first warm sunlight in spring. Not every progress is noticeable to the eye. In fact, many breakthroughs and improvements are happening internally, underneath that beautiful thick white snow.

Allow yourself to embrace January with an effortless ease. Plan your year ahead, but be intentional about it. There’s no need to rush your life, if truth be told; slow down, go within, and you will notice all those tiny seeds waiting to sprout in spring.
