Part 2; The Season of Receiving

I allow magic to enter my life.

After the season of creating space comes a different kind of stillness — not the stillness of letting go, but the stillness of receiving.

Now that space has been made, there is room for grace to enter. Room for the gentle, the unexpected, the deeply aligned. But this season asks for a different kind of strength — one that doesn’t grasp or demand, but waits with trust.

It’s a quiet courage: there is no rush to fill the silence.
But to let the soil remain untouched a little longer.
To let the garden grow in its own rhythm.

You are not behind.
You are not late.
You are not lost.

You are becoming fluent in a new language: receptivity.

Let this be a time where you say yes only when your whole body lights up in response. Where you welcome softness not as a luxury, but as a necessity. Where you let yourself be surprised by what comes — because you no longer need to control it to feel safe.

This is the season where discipline becomes loyalty.

Loyalty to yourself.
To your boundaries.
To your breath.
To your evolution.

Keep nurturing — not the result, but the intention. Keep aligning — not with expectations, but with what feels deeply authentic. Keep listening — not for noise, but for the words that arise from the silence.

Let yourself:

  • Open to abundance without questioning if you deserve it.
  • Rest without needing to earn it.
  • Speak from the heart.
  • Connect without performing.
  • Receive without guilt.

This isn’t about building a life from ambition.
It’s about letting your life meet you where you’re at— because you’ve made space for it to fit in.

The universe doesn’t ask you to be perfect; it asks you to be present.

You’re not becoming someone.
You’re becoming available to the life that’s always lingered just beneath the noise.

And the moment you feel that little spark — the pull, the intuitive hint, the quiet knowing — don’t doubt it. Trust the version of you that made space for it.

She always knew.
She still does.

Part 1; Your season of inner spaciousness

The season of creating space; making room for the fresh, the new. Honest and truthful beliefs, thoughts, and habits. It’s not about becoming a new person, but about returning to the real you.

You don’t need to escape the world to reconnect with your true essence— try anchoring yourself throughout the day with small rituals. A deep breath before checking your phone. A moment of stillness before answering someone. Presence to connect before making a decision. Tiny gestures like these say, “I’m here. I remember myself.”

The season of emptying.

This is not emptiness as in ”lack.” It’s emptiness as in rich, fertile soil. You’re clearing out old roots, old stagnant energies, making room for a love, a life that doesn’t require you to shrink or prove yourself to another.

Stillness is not emptiness. It is sacred space for truth to bloom.

Let yourself:

  • Sleep in your own rhythm.
  • Say no without guilt.
  • Explore who you are when you’re not being watched.
  • Journal your truth without editing it.
  • Let beauty in — music, art, nature, movement— not to impress, just to feel.
  • Practice not chasing. Let life come to you.

This is a shift from proving to belonging.

When you act from proving, you’re chasing things, whether it’s validation, love or status. When you act from belonging, you’re inviting everything that is meant to be — from a rooted, centered place.

It’s not about taking a break from life, or a relationship – you’re taking a break from the energetic posture of a certain habit. You’re ending a relationship with a pattern, with an identity, with a belief that says ”I am not enough.” It’s you choosing to come home to yourself before opening the door to something new. Not out of bitterness or fear – but out of clarity, reverence and self-respect.

There’s something beautiful about letting yourself not know what’s next in your life. Not planning it. Not striving for it. Just tending to your own garden. Because eventually, the life you attract will be a reflection of this grounded version of you — the one who knows she doesn’t have to chase anything.

Embrace patience, but know that patience isn’t just ”waiting nicely”. Maybe patience is compassion with yourself in motion. It’s allowing yourself to tremble while you learn to walk a new way.

When the soil is ready, the bloom always comes. And it won’t require you to earn it. It’ll recognize you, just as you are.

In-between seasons

It’s that time of the year when the body is slowly easing into the warmer and lighter days. Almost feels like nature all of a sudden decided to go from winter to spring. Yesterday’s darkness transforming into pure sunlight.

I love the in-between moments, when the winds of change stir, but the horizon remains unclear. You smell possibilities, lingering in the air. Be it nature waking up from her slumber, or your own life unfolding in a new direction; these are the moments when a new curiosity begins to bloom.

The uncertainty is often filled with questions; What is to come? Will everything be alright? Even when things are likely to be alright, our minds can still cast shadows of doubt. As surely as flowers find their time to bloom, your path will open as it’s meant to. Just look back at previous moments in your life, when everything turned out well, or better than expected. At times, our only job is to trust.

These so-called ”waiting periods” can easily be regarded as boring, it’s like staring at a blank canvas, pencil just out of reach, eager to begin. However, there is a lesson to be learned during this time. The importance of getting ready, being prepared. Just like you spring clean your home and closet, take time to refresh your mind and thoughts too. Keep what serves you, and let go of the mental clutter. Although we can never be fully prepared of what’s to come, there is always the chance to clear space, and make room for the fresh, the new.

Open the first page of a new journal and start filling it with thoughts, dreams, and ideas you’re ready to see bloom. And then, continue with your day; go to the park, read a book, take a walk in nature. Whatever you do, don’t dwell in your mind. Let the warmth of spring guide you. She will show you how to bloom.

The Power of Authenticity

We spend our lives seeking answers, as if they were buried deep within others’ minds, only to realise that the truth isn’t a single right answer – it lies within us.

There’s something truly magical about authentic people. They move through the world with unwavering sincerity, fully embracing their unique perspectives, passions, and values. And in doing so, they inspire and create space for others to do the same.

Think about it for a while; The greatest innovations usually come from those who dare to think differently. Fully rooted within themselves, they don’t seek validation; they follow their inner compass. The path may not always be straight or easy, but it’s one that stays true to who they are.

Breaking Free from the Fear of Judgment

One of the biggest reasons people struggle to be themselves is the fear of judgment. But here’s the truth: No matter what you do, people will always have opinions. Some will support you, others won’t. Since judgment is inevitable, why not be judged for staying true to your most authentic self?

Instead of seeking acceptance from others, prioritise self-respect. Instead of chasing approval, embrace self-expression. The world needs you, it doesn’t need you being a copy of someone else.

You will never influence the world by trying to be like them.

A content and peaceful life starts the moment you stop trying to be like everyone else. Embrace your quirks, think differently, and pursue your passions without hesitation. True innovation and magic happen when people have the courage to be themselves.

So, the next time you feel the pressure to conform, remember: You will never influence the world by trying to be like them. Stay true to yourself, and the world will take notice.

What Ballet Has Taught Me: Starting in My 40s

Ballet est l’amour.

I never imagined I would start ballet in my early 40s. Ballet belonged to another world—one of childhood dreams and youthful flexibility, of effortless grace and lifelong training. Yes, my teenage years were largely spent doing gymnastics, which undoubtedly provided me with a strong foundation. But something inside me whispered: Why not ballet, and why not now? At first, I discovered ballet through watching YouTube classes online, but eventually, I decided to step into a studio for the first time, feeling both excited and a little absurd – Ain’t I’m too old for this?! I was a beginner among beginners, and yet, I felt at peace.

Ballet has been one of the greatest gifts I have ever given myself. It is not only the movement—It is a language of its own, a conversation between the body and the soul—spoken in French, a language I must admit I do not speak, at all. But I do speak love, and ballet, after all, is love. Every time I show up in class it teaches me patience, not only with the steps and the technique but first and foremost, with myself. The progress is slow and exceptionally humbling. Some days, my body resists, in-between the soreness and aches, a reminder that time has shaped it differently. But then, there are these moments—fleeting, yet sincere—when everything seems to align, and I feel strong, and free.

More than anything, ballet has deepened my love and appreciation for my body. In a world that urges us to resist time and constantly highlights our imperfections, ballet has taught me to embrace and celebrate my body. Each plié, each tendu, each graceful extension is a reminder that my body is not something to be judged but something to be cherished. My body is capable. My body is resilient. It is alive.

While I feel more at ease at the barre than on the floor, I know that the true magic happens in the open space. On the floor, you are free—no longer holding on to anything. Yet, the barre is where you build confidence, strength, and the belief in yourself that allows you to one day let go.

Ballet is not easy. It demands discipline, an utter strength, and focus. It asks you to show up, even when you feel discouraged, and afraid you will mess up. But in return, ballet gives you something rare and beautiful—I have never experienced anything quite like ballet in its ability to bring me fully into the present. When I dance, the past holds no regrets, and the future carries no worries—there is only now; the music, the movement, and the quiet joy of being here. Once more, I feel like a curious child—open, and hungry to learn, not just about the discipline, but about myself.

Starting ballet at this stage in life is undeniably a lesson in humility, perseverance, and self-love. It is proof that new beginnings are always possible, and that sometimes, the bravest thing we can do is simply begin.

While my inner child may still dream of dancing on a grand stage, the adult in me understands that the true reward lies in the journey itself. In the quiet, unexpected joy of moving through life with an artist’s heart.

E-book: Relax, my darling, unwind – A Guide to Living in the Present Moment

“Relax, my darling, unwind. You are coming home, to yourself.”

The present moment – the only moment that matters, the only moment that exists. We humans are very good at preparing to live, but not very good a living. Habitually dwelling in the past and dreaming of the unknown future, while having difficulties concentrating the mind on the present moment.

In a world that constantly pushes us to do more, be more, and achieve more, the idea of slowing down can feel counterintuitive. Our society glorifies busyness, and productivity is often equated with success, and that crucial rest is mistaken for laziness. But what if the true essence of a fruitful life isn’t in the rush, but in the still, quiet moment in-between? What if joy, clarity, and contentment are found not in doing more but in being present?

The Pause That Changes Everything

As you plan for the year ahead and navigate daily life, there is one important thing to bare in mind – the power of the intentional pause.

What do I mean with an intentional pause?

It’s about taking a breather, that crucial pause when you reconnect with your body, and ask yourself; Is this in alignment with who I am? Is what I’m doing and feeling/thinking right now taking me closer to who I want to become?

The more aware you are of yourself and your inner state, the easier it will be to make the right decisions. You see, when you are fully connected with your body, mind and spirit it won’t be as easy to fall astray.

I am here now, in this moment. There is nowhere else I need to be.

The intentional pause is about reassessing and readjusting if necessary, or simply about confirming; Yes I am right where I need to be right now. All is well. It’s not about judging yourself if or when you have fallen off track, rather, it’s about being aware, with emphasis on the being.

Need inspiration? Just look at nature during winter. It’s like she has decided to take a long intentional pause, being in her calm, quiet and serene era. She just allows herself to be. And underneath her thick white fluffy snow, all her flowers and plants are slowly coming back to life, as nothing is never stagnant, everything is constantly changing, moving forward, recharging, slowly developing, just as the seeds preparing themselves for that first warm sunlight in spring. Not every progress is noticeable to the eye. In fact, many breakthroughs and improvements are happening internally, underneath that beautiful thick white snow.

Allow yourself to embrace January with an effortless ease. Plan your year ahead, but be intentional about it. There’s no need to rush your life, if truth be told; slow down, go within, and you will notice all those tiny seeds waiting to sprout in spring.

Steps to Plan Your Life Using Feminine Energy

”Come home to yourself.”

Feminine energy flourishes while being. The feminine does not use self-development as a tool to fix herself, but as a compass guiding her to everything that is already within her.

The idea of infusing feminine energy into planning life and setting goals brings a powerful shift in perspective. Embracing feminine energy, which embodies intuition, creativity, fluidity, and receptivity, beautifully balances the masculine qualities of logic, structure, and action. By allowing this powerful energy to guide you, you can thoughtfully create a life plan that resonates not only with your dreams but also deeply honours your inner self.

Understanding Feminine Energy in Goal Setting

When setting goals with the help of feminine energy, you lean into your inner wisdom, honour your emotions, and approach planning with a sense of flow rather than force.

Key aspects of feminine energy include:

  • Intuition: Listening to your inner voice.
  • Creativity: Embracing imaginative and innovative thinking.
  • Receptivity: Being open to opportunities and guidance.
  • Connection: Valuing relationships and holistic well-being.

Steps to Plan Your Life Using Feminine Energy

1. Begin with Reflection and Feeling

Feminine energy invites you to begin with reflection:

  • Ask yourself: How do I want to feel in my life?
  • Visualize your ideal day or year, focusing on the emotions you wish to feel, like joy, love, contentment, or excitement rather than specific achievements.

This exercise helps you shift your focus from external markers of success to inner fulfillment.

2. Honour Your Intuition

Instead of just listing goals in a linear fashion, take some time to sit with yourself and let your intuition guide you:

  • Free write about your dreams without judgment or editing.
  • Meditate and ask yourself what truly matters.
  • Pay attention to recurring themes or desires that light you up.

Use your intuition as a powerful guide to help you uncover what truly resonates with you.

3. Set Goals with Flexibility

Feminine energy thrives on adaptability. Instead of rigid deadlines, create goals with room for growth and change:

  • Use intentions like ”I will nurture my creativity by painting weekly” rather than ”I will complete 10 paintings by June.”
  • Focus on progress and process over perfection.

This approach allows you to adapt and evolve as life unfolds, staying aligned with your authentic self.

4. Embrace Creativity in Planning

Make planning a creative and enjoyable process:

  • Use vision boards or mind maps to visualise your dreams.
  • Incorporate colors, images, or symbols that inspire you.
  • Write affirmations or mantras that connect to your soul.
  • Free write about the person you are, the things you have achieved and the life you are living.

Infusing creativity into planning makes it a ritual of joyful self-expression and empowerment.

5. Balance between Action and Rest

While feminine energy thrives on flow, achieving goals still requires action. The key is to balance inspired action with moments of rest:

  • Plan periods for focused work alongside time to recharge.
  • Trust that rest is productive and allows your subconscious to process and innovate. During the rest time stay open to creative hints and always jot down ideas that come forth during these moments.

This balance prevents burnout and ensures you are connected to your inner energy source.

6. Celebrate and Reflect

Feminine energy values connection and gratitude, therefore, celebrate your milestones, no matter how small:

  • Reflect on how your goals align with your feelings and intuition.
  • Share your journey with supportive friends or communities.

Celebrating helps you appreciate the joy of the journey, not just the destination. It helps you stay on track even during those days when motivation is no where to be seen.

Benefits of Feminine Energy in Life Planning

When you incorporate feminine energy into your planning process, you create a life that feels more aligned, meaningful, and connected to you. This approach can:

  • Reduce stress and pressure from external & internal expectations.
  • Foster creativity and innovation.
  • Strengthen your connection to self and others.
  • Enhance your adaptability in a constantly changing world.

Planning your life with feminine energy is about harmonising your goals with your core essence. It’s not about abandoning structure and action taking, but rather softening it to include your intuition, creativity, and receptivity. By learning to embrace these qualities, you invite a sense of flow and fulfilment into your life.

Take a moment before the new year to pause, reflect, and listen to the whispers of your soul. With your feminine energy as your guide, you have everything you need to design a life that inspires and nourishes you.

Intentions for 2025

”But, what if, you’re actually evolving simply by being. By simply accepting and surrendering to the moment. Don’t resist the moment, whatever it contains. Sit with it, observe it, be aware of it – don’t label it. Be with it. Let go of what you know, and let yourself be open to the fresh, the new.”

What we focus on expand. So, focus on what you want out of life. What do you want to see more of in this world – Then, go about to create it. Nothing good will come out of it if you don’t take action.

It all begins with you.

A healthy, peaceful planet starts with a healthy peaceful mind. There’s no room for quick fixes, but for an honest and consistent commitment. Creating for the highest good of all.

More health. More acceptance. More love. More forgiveness. More expansion. More truth, More we.

Whatever you wish to do, or see more of in 2025, know that it starts with you. It always starts with you.

2025 intentions

Yearly intentions focus on overarching themes and values that guide your actions throughout the year. They’re less about achieving specific milestones and more about cultivating a mindset or approach to life that feels meaningful and aligned with your core self.

Living with intention is, at its core, a practice in mindfulness. By focusing on a word or phrase—such as “balance,” “courage,” or “authenticity”—you create an opportunity to check in with yourself regularly.

Are your actions and choices aligning with your intention? Are you living in a way that feels purposeful? These gentle reflections keep you present and mindful as you navigate the year.

How to Set Your Yearly Intentions

Ready to try setting yearly intentions? Here are some simple steps to get started:

  1. Reflect on Your Values
What matters most to you? Health, creativity, family, adventure? Reflect on your priorities and identify what themes resonate with you for the coming year.
  2. Choose a Word or Phrase
Keep it simple. Words like “courage,” “connection,” “abundance,” or “resilience” can serve as powerful anchors for your intention.
  3. Write It Down
Put your intention somewhere visible—a journal, a sticky note, or even as your phone wallpaper. Regular reminders will keep you aligned.
  4. Check In Regularly
Make time for periodic check-ins. Reflect on how your actions align with your intention and make adjustments as needed.

Setting yearly intentions is about more than planning; it’s about living purposefully. By focusing on themes that resonate with your values, you can navigate the year with clarity, flexibility, and self-compassion.

So, as you look ahead, ask yourself: What kind of person do I want to become? Let your answer guide your intention for the year—and watch how it transforms the way you live.

Have you set any intentions for the year ahead?

The Art of Allowing: Embracing Flow and Trust in Life

That constant need for control… We meticulously plan, strategise, and problem-solve, all in an effort to make our lives easier and more effortless. While discipline and determination certainly have their place in your day-to-day life, please consider another, subtler skill that can transform the way you experience the world: the art of allowing.

Allowing is not about passivity or throwing in the towel. Rather, it’s an active state of openness and trust. It’s the art of releasing resistance and making space for life to unfold naturally, without the constant need to be in control. By embracing the art of allowing, you align yourself with the flow of life rather than fighting against it.

The Philosophy Behind Allowing

At its core, allowing is rooted in the belief that life is inherently intelligent and interconnected. Whether you choose to frame it as faith in the universe, trust in divine timing, or simply confidence in the natural rhythms of existence, allowing asks you to believe that things will unfold as they’re meant to. This doesn’t mean that you should abandon effort or ambition, but instead, couple them with patience and trust.

This perspective is echoed in many philosophical and spiritual traditions. Taoism, for instance, speaks of ”wu wei,” or effortless action, where one aligns with the natural flow of the universe. Similarly, mindfulness practices encourage us to observe and accept our experiences without judgment, creating space for insights and solutions to arise organically.

But why does allowing feel so hard?

For many of us, the art of allowing feels counterintuitive. We live in a culture that glorifies productivity and celebrates those who “make things happen.” This makes us equate allowing with laziness or lack of ambition. But this couldn’t be further from the truth.

Allowing requires a deep inner strength. It’s a practice of letting go of our need for certainty and control, which can feel vulnerable and uncomfortable. It asks us to trust in the unknown and embrace the present moment, even when it doesn’t match our expectations.

This is how you can cultivate the art of allowing

Learning to allow is like building a muscle; it takes practice and patience. Here are a few steps to get started:

  1. Practice mindful awareness. Pay attention to where you feel tension or resistance in your life. These are often areas where you’re trying to control outcomes. Use mindfulness techniques, like deep breathing, EFT tapping or meditation, to create a sense of spaciousness around these feelings.
  2. Release the need to have all the answers. Let go of the compulsion to have all the answers right away. Remind yourself that clarity often emerges over time. Trust that the path will reveal itself as you take one step at a time.
  3. Embrace uncertainty. Uncertainty can feel like a threat, but it’s also a space of infinite possibility – you choose how to look at it. Instead of fearing the unknown, try to see it as an opportunity for growth and discovery.
  4. Align with your values. Allowing doesn’t mean sitting back and letting life happen to you. It means taking inspired action when the time is right. Focus on what matters most to you, and let your values guide your decisions.
  5. Celebrate small wins Acknowledge and celebrate moments when you successfully let go of resistance. Whether it’s surrendering to a traffic jam or accepting a change in plans, these small acts of allowing build confidence in the process.

The benefits of allowing

When we practice the art of allowing, we open ourselves to a range of benefits:

  • Reduced Stress: Letting go of the need to control everything can lower stress and create a sense of ease.
  • Enhanced Creativity: Allowing creates mental and emotional space for new ideas and solutions to enter.
  • Stronger Relationships: By releasing expectations, we can connect with others in a more authentic and compassionate way.
  • Greater Resilience: Trusting the flow of life helps us adapt to challenges and bounce back more quickly.

The art of allowing is not about giving up; it’s about giving in—to the wisdom of life, the rhythm of nature, and the intelligence of the present moment. It’s an invitation to dance with uncertainty, trust the process, and find beauty in the unfolding.

So the next time you find yourself clinging tightly to an outcome, take a deep breath and ask: What would it feel like to allow? You might just discover that letting go opens the door to everything you’ve been seeking.
