Part 2; The Season of Receiving

I allow magic to enter my life. After the season of creating space comes a different kind of stillness — not the stillness of letting go, but the stillness of receiving. Now that space has been made, there is room for grace to enter. Room for the gentle, the unexpected, the deeply aligned. But this season asks for a different kind of strength — one that doesn’t grasp or demand, but waits with trust. It’s a quiet courage: there is no rush to fill the silence. But to let the soil remain untouched a little longer. To let the garden grow in its own rhythm. You are not behind. You are not late. You are not lost. You are becoming fluent in a new language: receptivity. Let this be a time where you say yes only when your whole body lights up in response. Where you welcome softness not as a luxury, but as a necessity. Where you let yourself be surprised by what comes — because you no longer need to control it to feel safe. This is …

E-book: Relax, my darling, unwind – A Guide to Living in the Present Moment

“Relax, my darling, unwind. You are coming home, to yourself.” The present moment – the only moment that matters, the only moment that exists. We humans are very good at preparing to live, but not very good a living. Habitually dwelling in the past and dreaming of the unknown future, while having difficulties concentrating the mind on the present moment. In a world that constantly pushes us to do more, be more, and achieve more, the idea of slowing down can feel counterintuitive. Our society glorifies busyness, and productivity is often equated with success, and that crucial rest is mistaken for laziness. But what if the true essence of a fruitful life isn’t in the rush, but in the still, quiet moment in-between? What if joy, clarity, and contentment are found not in doing more but in being present? Moments with yourself

”Don’t just look; see.” Sitting with oneself is much more than just being alone; it’s about being present with your thoughts, emotions, and sensations without judgment or distraction. This practice not only creates space for introspection and renewal, it’s a moment of calm. Don’t just look at the world; learn to see beyond what is apparent to the eye. There lies an immense wisdom in-between the words, the shapes, the stars. Oh, dear human, if you only knew everything you already are. How to Practice Sitting with Yourself Starting this practice of ”sitting with yourself” may feel uncomfortable, especially if you’re used to a constant stream of activity. But like any skill, it becomes easier and more rewarding with time. Here’s how to begin: 1. Start Small Set aside just five minutes a day to sit quietly. You don’t need any special equipment or a perfect setting — just a space where you can be undisturbed for a few minutes. 2. Focus on Your Breath Let your breath be your anchor. Pay attention to its …

The Power of Pausing

”Relax. My darling, unwind. Be patient and stay alert. You’re coming home. To yourself.” We are often led to believe that constant movement, multitasking, and endless productivity are the only paths to a successful life. Yet, amidst all the noise, there’s a quiet truth that can lead to even greater success: the power of stillness. Embracing stillness doesn’t equal inaction or being lazy; it’s about taking inspired authentic action, and pausing, reflecting, and grounding yourself in the present moment. By incorporating stillness in your day-to-day life, you’ll gain not only clarity and calm but your mental strength and creativity will blossom while navigating life’s challenges. The Illusion of Constant Productivity If you’re like me, you probably equate busyness with progress. At least I thought that when I’m always ”on,” responding to emails immediately, eating lunch in front of the screen, and never taking a moment to breathe, that I will achieve more. But the reality is, which I’ve noticed, that constant activity doesn’t always equate to productivity. In fact, it leads to stress, decision fatigue, …

Harnessing the Power of the Winter Months: A Guide to Embracing the Season

Winter often receives a negative perception, with its shorter days, colder temperatures, and the stillness of nature. However, beneath this chilly façade, winter carries a special energy that invites us to reflect, grow, and renew ourselves. By choosing to embrace the season instead of fighting against it, we can tap into winter’s unique power to nurture our personal and professional lives, fostering resilience and introspection during this quieter time. Here’s how you can make the most of winter’s transformative energy. 1. Embrace Stillness and Reflection Winter serves as a gentle reminder from nature that taking time for rest and reflection is truly vital. As trees lose their leaves and animals curl up in hibernation, the world around us quiets down, inviting us to pause our busy lives. This season encourages us to slow our pace and to thoughtfully consider our own journeys. Consider using the winter months to reflect on the year gone by. What have you accomplished? What challenges did you face? It’s okay to recognize both your triumphs and the moments where things …

Dear October…

… there’s no June without you.  ”The silent hour of night, and my heart suddenly arise, caressing my awaken sight, while awaiting life, with blissful eyes.” As October settles into the world, there’s a quiet shift in the air, a subtle invitation to slow down. To breathe deeper. The days grow shorter, and the crispness of autumn brushes the mornings. Leaves, still clinging to their branches, contemplating their fall before letting go. In this transition, mindfulness comes easily. You begin to notice the small things, the vital things. And with each breath, there’s a grounding, an awareness of the moment. The air cool, but gentle. The sky stretches wide and open, its light softening, casting a golden glow over everything it touches. October feels like a month of pause, a reminder to be present, to notice the earth preparing for its quiet rest. It’s a season that whispers to us to be still, to watch the world change around us, and to feel the beauty in simply being. ………………………….. This October is all about harnessing the talents within. …

Take a Step Back Today and Look at All the Beautiful Things You Have

We seldom appreciate were we are. Instead, we’re often focused on what’s next: the next meeting, the next to-do, the next goal, the next challenge. While forward movement is both natural and necessary, it’s equally important to pause and appreciate where we already are, what we already accomplished. When was the last time you stopped, took everything in and savoured the moment? The beauty in simply being. The smell of fresh rain, the warmth of sunlight on your face, or the laughter of a loved one. These moments are fleeting, but they are powerful reminders that beauty is often found in the simplest things, in the stillness between it all. If you can’t even appreciate these little things how do you think you will ever appreciate the grander things? You will always be looking for more. Taking a step back to notice and appreciate these small details of life helps us realise that joy is always within reach. It reminds us that even on the hardest days, there’s something to be grateful for. Take a …

The Power of Silence

I never found the stillness, nor the silence, to be empty, frightening, in fact, it’s always filled with answers, ideas and directions. The more stillness I’ve invited, the more I’ve realised its profoundness. Redirecting our focus inwards, allows us to tap into the vastness and limitlessness that resides within us. People are so familiar with noise, distractions, sounds, interruptions and opinions, that silence has become rare, and sometimes even disturbing. Silence is a powerful tool because people don’t expect silence. People expect argument, disturbance, debate, and they seek every opportunity to be right, to have the final word. Make them uncomfortable, hence, let them become aware, before they act. Become aware of the peacefulness that surrounds the moment. To master silence is to master your voice, it’s to master your surroundings and it’s to master yourself. Make space for silence, and you’ll make space for sensational thoughts to enter. Whenever I want to gain some new inspiration, and allow new thoughts to enter, I free write. It can be about absolutely anything. It can start …
