Embracing silence
”A quiet mind is able to hear intuition over fear.” In a world that is constantly on speaker mode, or so it seems. Noice, opinions, judgments, the news. Look here, read this, like this, validate me, think this, believe this, be this. Be still. Be aware of what you consume. You can choose what information houses your brain. However, I agree, it can be difficult to find moments of peace and rest when we’re constantly being bombarded with stimuli. But without the comfort of the silence we won’t find the answers we are looking for. You see, the answers you seek, already rest within. If you only took the time each day to simply sit with yourself, to enjoy your own precious company, you would eventually realise the wisdom that lies beneath all those outer, dense layers you have collected throughout the years.
