Don’t fight the boredom

Lately, I’ve noticed the urge to fill almost every waking moment with stimuli. Whether it’s listening to a podcast while walking, scrolling through Instagram before bed, reading a book, or putting on music while cooking — there’s this constant need to avoid the quiet. Normally, I enjoy silence, the stillness of simply being in the moment. But sometimes the outside circus takes over and pulls me into its endless plays and entertainments, leaving me disconnected from myself. Fortunately, I catch it more quickly these days. After about a week my body and mind start to feel anxious and uneasy, and I stop to ask: why? Then I realise — too many distractions, too much noise, and not enough space for boredom. The thing is, boredom is actually good for us. We don’t need to be stimulated every waking hour. By allowing ourselves to feel bored, we open the door for creativity and fresh ideas to emerge. So now, I sit with my coffee or tea in bed before the day begins, simply being. I walk …

This August – Make space for what you love

To me, August has always been a time for new beginnings, more so than January. Growing up, it marked the beginning of the school year, and with it came the excitement of a fresh start and new possibilities. So, even as an adult I carry the newness of August within me. Wanting to purchase a new calendar, notebook, and most of all I want to re-new my entire wardrobe, and sometimes even my identity. Or maybe it’s not so much about renewing oneself, but more so about coming home to oneself. It’s funny, but the older I get the more I become her; my childlike, creative self who always appreciates the beauty around her. The one who loves to create from the heart, not caring what others might think of her. She just is. So, whenever August arrives I let her come forth a little more; I let her shine and take up space – cause she deserves it. Still, with this being said, any day is a good day to allow your truest self …

The Power of Living from Wholeness

There comes a moment in life when you will stop entertaining the unnecessary ; the things, people, or experiences that once felt necessary for you to feel worthy. Instead, you’ll learn to come home to yourself. There’s no begging to be chosen. You choose yourself. And from that place of completeness, life begins to meet you differently. You are not chasing. You are attracting. There’s no room for unnecessary drama. You are in alignment, simply being. When you’re rooted in your own self-worth— not the “only if I achieve this or look like that” kind—but the deep knowing that you’re already enough—your entire energy changes. You speak differently. Exist differently.Work, love, create, and relate from a place of wholeness. How does this play out?In your relationships, you no longer over-give just to be kept. You no longer perform just to feel validated or desired. You honor your boundaries to keep your soul safe. You let your value speak through your energy and presence. You trust your own rhythm and timeline. You let inspiration find you instead …

Imposter Syndrome, Art, and the Courage to Begin Again

”I paint more from feeling than from thought.” A few years ago, something quiet and persistent within me said, “You need to start painting.” So I did—without a plan, without training, without knowing why. I followed feeling. I let color move where words couldn’t. My work lives in the spaces between: softness and stillness, motion and memory, the inner landscapes we don’t always know how to name. I use whatever medium feels right in the moment—acrylics, pastels, texture, gesture. What matters most to me is honesty. That the work comes from a true place. To my surprise, people noticed. Friends, family, even colleagues asked if they could buy a piece. At first I was touched—and then, slowly, doubt crept in. Who am I to call this art? Who am I to charge money for something I barely understand myself? That voice got louder, and eventually, I stopped painting. It’s been nearly five years now. But something inside me is shifting again. This time, I want to return differently. Not as someone who needs to prove anything—but as someone who …

Allow yourself to blossom

Part 1; ”I am allowed to blossom.” ”You are allowed to take up space just by being you, by simply existing. ” Not striving, not performing , simply allowing. Blossoming not because you should, but because it’s in your nature. Observe nature right now, how she is stunningly herself, not asking for permission to bloom – she just is. You do not need to earn your worthiness. There’s nothing to prove, just a quiet, soft confidence, not loud or forced, but grounded in something ancient and true. Like a garden early summer – sun-warmed, lush, quietly alive. There’s nothing to hold back, nothing to be rushed, a simple reminder that your are unfolding. Allow yourself to move with the colorful flowers, the lush trees, the spellbound waters. Everything which you are a part of. Maybe you have dimmed parts of yourself. Maybe you softened your brightness so others wouldn’t feel uncomfortable. Maybe you stayed small in moments where you longed to express yourself. But all of this time there was this soft, gentle inner voice …

Part 3; The Season of Becoming

After the emptying, after the soft, slow season of receiving, happens a quiet shift. A gentle blooming. This is the season of becoming. Or should I say – the season of returning to the real you. It won’t be a sharp turning point, nor a grand transformation. But a subtle unfolding. A moment when you begin to realise: I no longer need to try so hard to be who I already am. Becoming is what happens after you’ve made space, after you’ve received. It’s the natural order of living in integrity with your inner being. Nothing needs to be forced. It effortlessly arises. This season is filled with forward movement — but not the panicky, grasping kind of action. This is inspired action. It’s rooted, quiet and confident. There’s no more chasing. You’re creating, expressing, responding. You’re living from completeness, not from lack. There’s no need to declare this metamorphose.Your energy speaks louder than your words now. This is you, naturally. Let yourself: In this season, life begins to reflect back the internal work you’ve been doing. Not immediately, nor all at once. …

Part 1; Your season of inner spaciousness

The season of creating space; making room for the fresh, the new. Honest and truthful beliefs, thoughts, and habits. It’s not about becoming a new person, but about returning to the real you. You don’t need to escape the world to reconnect with your true essence— try anchoring yourself throughout the day with small rituals. A deep breath before checking your phone. A moment of stillness before answering someone. Presence to connect before making a decision. Tiny gestures like these say, “I’m here. I remember myself.” The season of emptying. This is not emptiness as in ”lack.” It’s emptiness as in rich, fertile soil. You’re clearing out old roots, old stagnant energies, making room for a love, a life that doesn’t require you to shrink or prove yourself to another. Stillness is not emptiness. It is sacred space for truth to bloom. Let yourself: This is a shift from proving to belonging. When you act from proving, you’re chasing things, whether it’s validation, love or status. When you act from belonging, you’re inviting everything that …

In-between seasons

It’s that time of the year when the body is slowly easing into the warmer and lighter days. Almost feels like nature all of a sudden decided to go from winter to spring. Yesterday’s darkness transforming into pure sunlight. I love the in-between moments, when the winds of change stir, but the horizon remains unclear. You smell possibilities, lingering in the air. Be it nature waking up from her slumber, or your own life unfolding in a new direction; these are the moments when a new curiosity begins to bloom. The uncertainty is often filled with questions; What is to come? Will everything be alright? Even when things are likely to be alright, our minds can still cast shadows of doubt. As surely as flowers find their time to bloom, your path will open as it’s meant to. Just look back at previous moments in your life, when everything turned out well, or better than expected. At times, our only job is to trust. These so-called ”waiting periods” can easily be regarded as boring, it’s …

What Ballet Has Taught Me: Starting in My 40s

Ballet est l’amour. I never imagined I would start ballet in my early 40s. Ballet belonged to another world—one of childhood dreams and youthful flexibility, of effortless grace and lifelong training. Yes, my teenage years were largely spent doing gymnastics, which undoubtedly provided me with a strong foundation. But something inside me whispered: Why not ballet, and why not now? At first, I discovered ballet through watching YouTube classes online, but eventually, I decided to step into a studio for the first time, feeling both excited and a little absurd – Ain’t I’m too old for this?! I was a beginner among beginners, and yet, I felt at peace. Ballet has been one of the greatest gifts I have ever given myself. It is not only the movement—It is a language of its own, a conversation between the body and the soul—spoken in French, a language I must admit I do not speak, at all. But I do speak love, and ballet, after all, is love. Every time I show up in class it teaches …
