Spice up your smoothie

Sunshine smoothie with warm blueberries

A creamy and filling breakfast that will kickstart your day. Tasted lovely after a sunny and vibrant morning walk.

It’s always a good idea to spice up your smoothies and juices with different flavours. Season with spices such as vanilla, cinnamon, cardamom, turmeric, cayenne pepper, chili, ginger, basil, liquorice to mention a few. Not only will they bring an extra deliciousness and enhance the flavour of your smoothie, but they are also packed with antioxidants and may benefit your overall well-being.

What you need for one smoothie:

1 dl oats

2 dl unsweetened almond milk

One small banana

1 dl frozen mango and papaya pieces

Vanilla powder

A hint of cardamom 

1 tbs maca powder

2 tsp unsweetened almond butter

+ warm blueberries

(1 dl = 0.422 US cups) 


1. Mix oats, almond milk, banana, mango and papaya in a blender for a couple of minutes on high speed.

2. Add rest of the ingredients and mix until smooth and creamy.

3. Pour the smoothie and warm blueberries in a jar.
